nah i try to hit it right when it gets in the red

In my past I have went from 6.0's to 5.90's just by shifting 1k earlier. A shiftlight may help. Him, are you still foot shifting ?

Yeah im still foot shifting dont want to get an airshifter kinda takes away teh fun of having a bike....like why get a corvette if its an automatic no what i mean.

As for not looking at the tach...you might as well look at it theres noting running in front of you. so i should shift before it drops into the red?

I don't wait for it to hit the limiter, I just never lookked to see where the needle is when I shift. You'll see what I mean on Friday. Should be fun.

im gonna try to get a print out of where my power curve starts to drop off at and see what happens from there. Wont get it until sat though may be able to get one tomorrow

I wish I lived closer to you guys.....I'm telling ya him, you're right there.Just don't get frustrated!!! You guys should get together and come to a MIRock race. I shift my bike from 1st-2nd @ 10,800 then the rest 11,000 on the tach. A shift light would be a good idea for you.

yeah i foot shift mine. Im the economical drag racer...cant afford the exteded arm, air shifter or power adder so i have to get good with what i got. I tried leaving with my foot on the shifter but i ended up lauching like a beotch. Having both feet down gives me teh false sense of security i need

My plan is to ride stk wheel base til I get low 1.60 60fts. Then I'll probably go out 4". Another thing I realized late is that the lower the better. My only 1.49 60ft was scrubbing the bottom plastic from the bike squatting and being so low. set up is half the battle. I'm trying to learn more on clutch and rear shock set up. I think I'll be there once I get that.

Going to the track tonite, I can't wait! Ordered a strap from Schnitz, should be in today. Loking to get better each time, so 7.0 is my goal. Looking forward to seeing him and Ludicrous speed up there.

Will definatly be there tonight and seeing if my buddy wants to roll with me. Hey do you have an address for the track so i can mapquest it to get an estimate on time it will take to get there?

nice little hike there. ill leave here at about 5 so i can get there when it opens. May only run a few times cause my rear may need replacing but i am coming if only to shoot the shid and get some advice on lauching/shifting.

i thinks hes talking about his 60ft....1.70
