You mean like this?Ideally you want to get the front tire to just float an inch or two as you are leaving as this will transfer weight to the rear tire and get you better grip on the track.
I don't have any adjustment left, and I want the rear pushed back all the way, so more links are needed. Should have done this on Saturday, but oh well.You shouldn't need to cut the chain to replace the front. It will just move the wheel back a little.
