Hey Dennis I know it's a long shot and this isn't your bike but if you happen to be there and the gear position plug is in your sight and you happen to think about it could you try and get a pic of the plug so we can see if it's the same connector and amount of wires a the gen 2? It would be greatly appreciated if you could sir, if not no biggie.
Will do. He took the bike out of my shop to the races Saturday but I expect it back soon to put in the heavier spring. I’ll get it then. Only qualifier is I’m not removing plastics to see. Hopefully it is accessible.

I guess I can't complain too much since I got 40k out of it but still hate that they couldn't make one that didn't have issues by the time our bikes got built.
