List all your Gen 3 Mods

Do you know any welders? They could tack the barrel to the arm so they don’t spin.

I just re read the original post. Are you talking about the silver ones or the black ones
The black ones , someone mentioned the pegs spinning from weight with just the bolt going through. So I figured I would mention it here to see if 60 + busa had any issues with that happening.

Hello again, mine have not spun, one end of the modified part is manufactured with a cone shape that presses in the peg and the other end is locked in with two 3mm pins. I’m sure you could spin the peg with enough effort but mine has not spun and I raise up off my seat on almost every ride but I do not stand up, I never have stood up on my street bikes. Even the factory setup is springy and I don’t trust them at my weight. I used blue loctite and I had to use quite a bit of force to remove the bolt today.

I’m posting several pics with measurements both in mm and inches, the only part that needs to be machined is the removable cone from the wide peg set, I used a 5/8” (.623) end mill for this with a depth of 5.10mm or .200” and a 3mm end mill at the same depth for the pins. You’ll need to purchase two 6mm 1.0 threads X 120 mm long Allen head bolts and two 3mm X 7mm pins.

I had to buy 10 bolts so if you like pm me your address and I’ll mail you 2 bolts and the pins for free.

I rolled my pegs 12-15 degrees forward for my comfort.

I’m glad to talk to you by phone if you need.

The pics didn’t post in the order I wanted but the last three pics are the cone as it looked before I cut it and after I cut it and machined it. Also the pics of the shiny black parts are from the drop peg set and I’m just showing them for reference. I hope I was able to help and good luck.

Probably shouldn't repost every single picture spread over 7 pages. :D

Thank you. This Saturday I will bring them back to work. I do work in a machine shop. Our tool maker will help me finish them to your specifications.

This one is because of how far they stick out? Feels uncomfortable. Is that what corrects that issue. I normally put my foot straight down and I can't. I see that's where you got the other part from. You cut off the part I'm pointing too?

Ok I understand now. You milled the part that came with the dually part. I though you cut it off the part that connects to the bike like I pointed too. I'm glad I did not mess that part up.
^ this statement is correct, the only part that needs to be machined is from the Dually. Glad you caught it in time.

View attachment 1668834Do you find a big difference with the woolich flash with the slip on setup

Nope, not really. The slip on only add a better look, sound and help to save weight. The woolich flash maybe improved the throttle response in the low and medium RPM, maybe :D
It's not like the gain was huge, and with this kind of engine full of torque, on the road only, not an easy task to feel small gaps like this.

Got carried away :)- only excuse is single, no other responsibilities or expensive interests - sons are independent and doing well and it's the last bike I'll ever own/ride! Yoshimura radiator/oil guard, tail tidy and crash pads, ASV levers, Helibar risers, GSG front and rear axle sliders, Puig screen, Fuzeblock, Scottoiler, Denalli sound bomb, replacement black stainless steel nuts, bolts, fittings everywhere, Akropovic 4 into 1 Titanium Racing Line exhaust, BST carbon wheels, Gilles Tooling lowered foot rests, Hepco & Becker Easyrack/C-Bow sidecarriers with Journey top case and Orbit side cases plus OEM tank bag.

Hi from one oldsoldier to another, do you have the details for your Gillies front pegs!? was it a straight forward fit, and did you contemplate doing the rears? Ive been looking at the gillies stuff as hate the look of the stock footpegs, not to mention how uncomfortable they are. Regards Ade

Hello AdeB and apologies for the late response - been ill and have only just seen this. I was misled on the Gilles foot pegs - ordered via eBay and they turned out to be fakes - first time I've been caught like that - guess you're never too old to learn! Ended up getting the Puig ones (which are bike specific) from Pyramid Plastics - 20mm lower, which for me turned out to be enough of a difference and are comfortable. Everything else as described.

I don’t have many… maybe I’m just saving room here for Infinite lol…
MooreMafia dyno tune
Sprint filter
Blacked out boomerangs
Yosh tail tidy
Front reflector delete….(I’m reaching here, just trying to be like the cool kids)

Then there was the raffle bike:
stretched, lowered, rear brake delete, BSTs, strapped, billet stacks (should’ve kept those) MooreMafia dynoed about 1000 times.
Brock’s exhaust, carbon wrapped boomerangs, rear plate delete, I could be missing something

And both together because I don’t have mods but I got pics!

Greetings,

I just received my new '24 Hayabusa. I really like the look of the stretch and lowered raffle bike, and would like to make mine look like that. Would you be able to list the exact parts used in that mode (stretch and lower mods only) as well as the amount of stretch and lower (inches or mm)??

Good idea and the size of the rear tire is a 190/50 or its a 180/55?
