Lets go deep!

ht is right traveling faster than the speed of light only gives you the illusion of time travel.but back to the question, you left out light, harmonic frequencies, and radiation.other than that im guessing not much or it wouldnt be called space, but what i want to know is if space is a giant vacuum whats causing it?i think its not really a vacuum but as the universe expands it is actually pulling space(i.e. the gravity of the universe)outward giving the impression that space is a giant vacuum but then again what does a dropout know?

P.S.  Kudo's to Michelle for proving blondes too can google!

Hey, there's nothing wrong with LEARNING!!!

I can google with the best of 'em...but, I do learn too...

It's a balloon... It's full of somethings spit and will eventually explode once they inflate it too far, that or it will slip, let go, and it will go whooshing around spilling the contents (us) out all over (something).

Another question to go along with yours, and to suggest that there is nothing in space (aside from the obvious). We know that aircraft require air to get lift, and in order for jets to provide thrust, they need to be pushing against something.

When you take that air away, how is it done? how do rockets when they go into space maintain or control thrust. Is it that they push out their own oxygen along with ignited rocket fuel etc to push themselves along?
The movement of rockets has to do with Newton's third law, which says that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Rockets work by releasing matter backwards into space. This provides thrust, which moves the rocket forward. It's kind of like blowing up a balloon, then letting it go to fly around the room.

that's why exhausts on bikes and cars point backward

IMO,you can compare the space between the planets and galaxies like the space between an electron and the nucleus of protons and neutrons, just fuggin space

Tachyons and Time Travel
Special Relativity states that nothing that is moving initially slower than the speed of light can be accelerated to exceed the speed of light. This is not strictly speaking the same as the statement that nothing can travel faster than light. It is in principle possible that particles exist which move faster than light from the moment they are created. If such particles did exist, however, Special Relativity implies that they could never be slowed down to velocities below the speed of light. The existence of such particles, called tachyons, has not been totally ruled out, but several experiments have tried, without luck to detect them. If they did exist, and they interacted with ordinary matter, it would give us the means to communicate with the past. Tachyons could literally be sent outwards, bounce off a tachyonic mirror, and return before they were sent. This in turn would give rise to a great many logical problems. For example, if you sent a message back in time that caused your grandfather to be killed before your father was conceived, then you would not be around to send the message that prevented your birth, so that you would be around to send the message, so that you wouldn't be around....etc.
So in Theory, I have tried this........and your not reading this message!

Or......was there ever a message?

How can it be "nothingness" if there is something in it, i.e. photons mag fields?

yet isn't there SOMETHING inbetween the nucleus and protons, yes? detectable 'matter' I think, but could there be something there where there is nothing? like in space?

we can't SEE air or oxygen and yet we are swimming in it constantly
