Okay fellas. Nobody wanted to wait until August to get together, but it's just about here anyway and I haven't seen anything about any rides.
I'm thinking August 25th with a rain/wind date the 26th. We roll from Long Island and meet with 2Quik for a destination of either OCC or the Vanderbilt mansion.
Lets get this together.

Aug. 25th sounds good to me. I have to see as we get closer though. I assumed I missed a ride already, thought I was sleepin in and you guys were out riding. Guess I didn't miss anything after all.
details please, pit stops, avg speed [i aint no racer], any info would be appreciated.
iys a moderate pace , we have never lost anyone , or left anyone behind , we usualy like to get to yonkers by 9 am , that puts any traffic way behind us ,the whitestone bridge and the toll both are pretty empty at this time there are some twists and turns but by all means ride your own pace ! if you loose sight of the group just keep headin foward , at your pace we will all check before turning off of a road thet we are togetger and then continue on , there are a few nice wide open areas where a bike could go well a little fast , interstate type setting , ? but usualy a short burst and then back to the group , i will pull over no matter how bad i am screwed for what i have done and i have ridden with most of the members who will definatly attend , we leave together , we get home together , it is a good crowd you will have a great day riding , there are plenty of breaks meet on li 730 , yonkers just before 9 , break hook up with yonkers group stretch the legs for a bit check out some bikes , fuel up , if needed back on the road , id like to head through bear mountain another posible stop 1 hr from yonkers top of bear mountain , there will probably be between 2 - 300 bikes up there , ride to the top is short but intense view of NYC is like no other on a vlear daY , tgen off to occ i love to pull up to that place with a dozen or so busas ! the roads are great traffic is not there , so good day , i am not sure but we usualy do some sort of lunch somewhere along the way , ride home well that is like any other ride home ! i am sure you can hang , there were a couple of members that wanted a different type of ride the last time , but 95 % were not lookin for that kinda ride one left right away the other realized after just about a full day riding they are both welcome to come again , i always have a great time as does everyone else , clear your calander , and lets get some plans goin ! i cant wait to get off this dam island , if you have easy pass good if not no big deal not everybody will have one so we will regroup on the other side of the toll booth

As far as other concerns with this group, te really are none. We have done a few rides together and ride well as a group. One or two short blasts like John said but group speed usually just over limit...within reason. Haven't had a problem with speed racers on our rides. There is a time and place for that, neither is during our group rides.
OCC it is then? I'm game. I think they have some big thing there that weekend. I'm hoping to get my daughter upstate me...finally.
