I need to be able to get to the local watering hole on Saturday nights with my friends, and drive it into the city of Boston on the occasional suny day.

Nice mods Sir
With the help of CommutaBusa, I am switching out the tank for a fuel cell with a thin carbon fiber cover. This is still work in progress, but it seems like this will drop my chest and head WAY below the windscreen. I probably need to rebuild the seat and slide my ass about 5 inches forward to take advantage of this.
If your going this far you might as well cut the frame rails and really get low. If I were in the market for a new tank or cover I would
It's winter time, can't race so we gotta trash talk......Thought I would reactivate this thread since its kind of slow around here if you ignore the trash talk.

I made my own kickstand (its still a street bike) by brazing a 1040 High carbon .020" wall tube into the bored out clevis of the original kick stand. Much lighter than aluminum. Eliminated the kickstand switch and bolt by soldering is normally closed. Lot of grinding, but the end result was removal of 2.0 lbs.
