WWJD..I know you wanted some of us ladies to post up...I am working on it..I've been married to hubby for 13 years so that is a lot of memory to sort through to remember some of this stuff.
I can tell you over the years he has said many of things to make my heart just melt. The problem is I fell in love with him because he made me laugh, well we wound up making each other laugh! So most of it will involve downright silliness!
Plus we are both .ORGers, I don't want to totally humiliate him!
But Guys REMEMBER this: Once you are in a relationship, IT ISN'T JUST WORDS!!! ACTIONS CAN MEAN MORE THAN WORDS!! Like Bubble Baths!

Exactly. Dan and I will be celebrating our 18th anniversary in September and I truly don't remember any lines that any guy ever used to pick me up. Hontestly, it didn't happen often since I didn't go places where that sort of thing occurs.
But I not sharing any of the wonderful things he tells me that make my knees weak.
Thanks for the responses. I write songs and sometimes search for descriptives that can lead me to newer phrasings.... from things I've not heard before. Yeah, definitely ACTIONS are good too. My top 3 so far:
1. randomly stopping in a vacant parking lot slow dance under the street lights
2. making out while parked on the top of a parking ramp, under the stars but in the city
3. laying out a white silk walkway covered with roses from the apartment to the car door [hint: use REAL roses even though it is hard to gather up]
Strangely, there are many women too rooted in reality to ACCEPT a fun, sometimes over the top, romantic genstures. I'm waiting for one who can live there.

TIP: Florists will sell u rose petals by the 5 gallon bucket!! At least the ones in Norfolk, VA used to! They used to do this all the time (especially when the ships were coming home from six month deployments....hmm hmm).
