Mir getting wiped out by Miller was crap ,not sure if Mir would've hung onto a podium today..

Fabio with a clear flowing track and its see ya later alright.

I’m sure his comment about liking the ‘short’ straights was an indirect reference to the Ducati’s speed advantage on the ‘long’ straights, which the Yamahas can’t handle.

Good finish. Fabio kept pace with the Ducati throughout the race but didn’t have quite enough HP to overtake. The real race was for third. And MM managed another save after laying over on the left. His ability to lift the bike back onto the rubber is amazing. I wonder if the edge of his wheels have any rash?

Good again to see three brands on the podium. Five brands in the top six. Looks like Ducati is the domineering force. Has there been a race where a Ducati hasn’t been on the podium?
 
That is sad news if accurate. I’ve wanted BMW and Kawasaki to field some bikes for a long time and now Suzuki is leaving?:confused:

The repercussions of this move will impact nearly all 3 championships, to say nothing of what it will do to the riders market just in MotoGP itself! Not hard to see some of the promising young guys (and a few veterans!) currently in MotoGP being ousted for Mir or Rins! Just so hard to fathom walking away, just when the bike was getting on par with the best in the class!

 
Anyone know what the minimum PSI limits are in MotoGP?


EVERY motorcycle tire Michelin makes has this problem...the psi has to be exact for the application and conditions, otherwise...they handle like ****.
No thanks, I hated every Michelin tire I ever rode on for that same reason.
The fact that they need lower psi than allowed just re-enforces that for me.
Dunlop Q series tires are superior in every way, and are very forgiving and easy to find a psi setting to drag knees, ride wheelies, and still be stable at high or low speeds.

The PR5s I have work well...honestly I've ridden on Bridgestones most of my riding career...

I raced on them and they were stellar in their day...

I might go back to Bridgestones again...not sure yet....

My Michelin experience is across multiple bikes and tire models.
Every one of them sucked unless the psi was dialed in within a pound or 2.
Dunlops, 28 to 40 psi hot will do whatever I want them too, fine tuning still improves handling, but the tires are much more forgiving.
So no suprise to me that the latest Michelin is finicky with psi.
I'm not a Bridgestone fan either.
I've b*tched about Suzuki running 'BattleCraps" from the factory for years now.
Same issues for me.
All in the individual rider's preference, I just could never gain confidence riding on Michelins or Bridgestones.

That's a fact, tires , oil, chain cleaning are all the big discussions around here (long before the politics threads).

Suzuki put them on their top tier bikes for a reason...even the gen 3....that says something to me.
