My Busa Overhaul

They have a lot of information on their site but I couldn't find anything about routing. Try this Tel : 0044 (0) 1392 811 601

I asked them, they only make the lines. They don't care where they go. Hoping someone will come along and say "I've done it! Here's the pics of what to do!" but we'll see if that happens

I took off the old hard line/rubber line clutch line. Went to put on the new line (steel braided HEL line) but how can I secure it/route it so it will work and stay out of the way? I'll fab up a couple of small anchor points if I have to. Just looking for some good suggestions on this.

I removed the oem rubbber donuts and used them!

Glad you went with M/T Performance. I was considering them since I can just drive an hour and be there. I'll be interested to see how everything comes out.

Do they also have the lightened and balanced cranks for a 1441?

When I changed over to new stainless lines just followed factory routing and have not had any issues for 3 seasons now. If you are worried about steel braided lines rubbing just wrap a little rubber hose on line just where it meets the metal factory clamps.

I replaced my lines a couple of weeks ago and they came ready with 1in long grommets pre-installed on the line to mount to factory clamps. I also did what WOLFMAN did and use rubber hose to cover areas that were pressure points or possible rub areas. I followed factory routing all the way. On the GenII the clutch routing is right along side the throttle cable and is hidden by the black plastic fairing panel on mt 2012.

I just want to make sure that when its installed, the tank isn't gonna go down on top of it and chaff or cut the line, knowwhatImean?

M/T Performance recieved everything except for the block and cams today. The block is done except for the plating, which is where its at now. The cams are still being done but other than that, my engine is almost to me! I'm excited.

I'm going to bed. Thanks again for everything ya'll!

This is great advice even for the gen I. That's exactly what I did with my gen I and have NOT had a single problem.

Simply use the right sized grommets and protect areas of concern and hold them in place using wire ties as GIXERHP suggests.

I did this to my gen I years ago and it's still incident free.

Problem solved!!

I tried. To no avail. Also, They are doing it cheaper than I could have done with APE. APE's package was a little over 4 grand and that is just for the motor. I'm not gonna tell exactly how much I'm throwing into it BUT it isn't that much and it INCLUDES the transmission work.

So they just order it the parts from APE.....couldn't you have done the same thing??? What am I missing here?

Maybe I missed skimming through the pages but who's doing the head and what size cams? I'm curious to see Dyno numbers on this thing when you're done compared to my little project

I'd like to second that Justin.......

I would be very interested to know what his 1441 finally pulls on the dyno.

Surely at least 210HP ++ to the wheel !

The head is being done at M/T performance on the spot and the cams are .415's. I can't wait for the dyno either. We all know there will be pics!

So that shop is doing the porting there? Do they use CNC or hand port? Webb cams?
