Hi On the turbo I still do not know what to do I can get a used kit or a Am RCC Super ultra kit or RCC 1000HP kit . DME wants to build me a turbo kit with a single throttle body. I do want to use there Inconel header and I wood like to get the hot side made in Inconel too. This is on the wild side, but I do have someone who can make the head, block and cases out of magnesium.
 
A lot of salt runners are heavy even though usually, in other motor sports lighter is better. Since there is plenty of room to gain speed before the timed run distance comes around, your goal, why so much $$ for ‘lightness’? Is it really (that) beneficial or safe for a stable top speed run?

yeah I think I have voiced my thoughts
inconel header and hot side would be nice but if you are going to run nitrous as well as turbo then the exotic stuff is not needed as much
hell a GT42 and a 150 shot should get you close
remember turbos LOVE nos
 
Hi Today I have started to look into DEI Cryogenic systems to cool the intercooler more and cool the fuel also and to rap the turbo and fuel lines.
Hi. Paint for the motor came in yesterday. Today I have started to work on the prep to paint motor so far today I worked 7 hrs. I will work on the prep on the cases. Bare cases with head studs and crank studs weight 30 lbs. Head with valves cams weight 30 lbs, block weight, DME 1 1/2 inch base pan bout 1 1/2 lbs and the trans about 14 lbs..
 
Hi. More room for a bigger turbo. I also have a custom triple tree by Unit 5 and One Stop Speed 609-798-1798 It is a 1 inch + offset again more room for bigger turbo, I also run a 120/60/17 front tire again same.
Ahh ya that makes sense. I have a 1k front end on my booza. But my turbo kit is also a side mount so have plenty of room for stuff in that area
