My Very Slow Build

Have a chance to weight that yet. I wouln't bother over a couple ounces if that should be the case. There's probably no way to know if the weight reported for the Shark is accurate. I'd take a half pound lighter than regular composite but I have my doubts if that would be really noticeable in how the helmet feels on my head. I'm more inclined to go with a regular Shoei. I trust that brand after my crash where I took a good thump to the helmet.

I don't know if I could do that with a bike that cost that much money. I would do LSR but anything else, I don't know.

Those were awesome! That right there would be ten years of buying mods for me.

Keep it under a hundred thou and I'll buy it when you're done with it! It would be worth it. I don't see needing a new bike for the rest of my life.

Yes, especially that.
Hi. Yes the crank was $3,000.00 and that was a deal, as they are $3400.00 each DME bought 10 of them and I got the 11th one. It took 8 months to get.

@ Kiwi Rider THANK YOU. I have seen things and have done thing that I hope nobody has to do or see ever. The Doc told me to talk about it, it would make me feel better. I can talk about somethings but not everything and it has helped some. The hel will be in my mind every day till I die.
I as others have had cause , on too many occasion , to be both shocked and saddened by the way our respective countries top echelon government and military , seemingly abandon returned service men and women , when it comes to combat trauma , to provide some sort of satisfactory follow up mental debrief . As a society , we trust in and need our armed forces . We actively encourage the warrior spirit in our countries young , and when necessary , readily send them out in harms way , only to fail so many , on their return back to us . Morally , more help has to happen here and now .
Personally , I have never served in any military arm , but I have enormous respect for those that have , but especially those that experienced first hand , conflict and horrors associated with war , and of course , those that paid the ultimate price .

Things are different now, the support and assistance is there for those who take it at least here in Canada....we have a pretty robust system to care for our vets. I was quite shocked at how many things are in place...

My cousin (R.I.P.) who was a 'Nam vet was thrown away when he came home, he wandered around sort of aimlessly for a long time..it took years and years and finally he started to get looked after....the American VA is pretty robust in itself....he had great benefits with them, in many ways better than the benefits we have here.

The military is one of those things that people don't appreciate until they need them...here in Canada our government has allowed our military to dwindle down to a shadow of it's former self.

Hi, My Ti stud ads nut kit is in. I did not get them from Pro Bolt because they did not have a listing for them. They will after I give them the specs. They are M8x 1.25 over all length 45 mm, head side 15 mm, header side 25 mm .

Hi I am still looking at turbos. I do think if RCC says it is OK I am 90% sure it will be the Garrett G 42-1200c. That is the one that I picked out. A 45 frame will be to big and a 40 may be OK. If they used the Garrett 42-02 on there 1000 HP kit, then the G 42-1200c will be a little over all smaller turbo, and spool faster and will make even a little more HP.

The SAE Ti suspension and engine mount bolt kit I got has the header bolts. Sounds like you got that covered with Pro-Bolt.

I was going to put plastic bolts in the trunk to fasten the tail to the frame. Right now, I don't have any bolts in there and it's not exactly loose but it should have something in there to make it fit perfectly. It's been without bolts for 6 years now though.

You will post it here, yes? I could not find it searching for "crazy old guy wants to go fast".
Hi. I am still learning how to use a computer.

Hi. I am ready to order the turbo and the Ultra Billet Plenum from the great EX Sponsor Powerhouse. This is not easy as I have to get Powerhouse and DME and RCC to work together. To make my Double Super Ultra Turbo Kit. If you want the best and you want to go fast it will cost a lot of $ time and effort. The turbo, plenum and exhaust header about $10,400.00.

Why not just call RCC and have them make what you want? What does DME have to do or is he or Frank assembling/building it for you?

How fast are you trying to go and how fast have you been so far?

HI. I am working with Frank to go through him to RCC. DME is building my Inconel header I would like to use a Garrett G 42-1200c turbo I do not think anyone has used then on a bike yet. Eric at DAS is going to do the tune and he will short neck the bike and we will also be moving the swingarm pivot up 12mm. The rest I will put together. Rick Stetson is putting the motor together, it is the first time someone put a motor together for me. I just to not know enough about a busa motor yet, I will help and learn. Ok in a funny car back in the 80s I went 6.07 sec at 221 in the 1/4 in my F 5000 lola I went 232 on the back strigh at Daytona on my ZX 1100 with 1300 kit and NOS 208. My goal at Loring is 278.6 MPH Bill Werner old record, but on a street legal bike.
