My Very Slow Build

Yes but working also has many other benefits, it’s a good social experience and good for the mental well being (in general)
Also good for the body, keeps you active and that’s definitely a benefit!
You have my support my friend, keep on keeping on.
@Kiwi Rider When you have looked death in the eye as many times as I have and seen death death it does affect your mind. After my love Penny was killed next to me in the crash and after I got out of the wheel chair I went to live far into the woods for 2 years.

@ Kiwi Rider THANK YOU. I have seen things and have done thing that I hope nobody has to do or see ever. The Doc told me to talk about it, it would make me feel better. I can talk about somethings but not everything and it has helped some. The hel will be in my mind every day till I die.

Hi. My S&W igniter box, coils and mil spec shielded wire is in. For what I want the best is 12 mm up from stock any more and the chain will rub on the swing arm to much.

Hi I ordered the blowoff valve and the wastegate, bad part 14 week weight for them. I am working on the turbo size now. I am trying to see if I can get the Garrett 42-1200c to fit. The bike has a 120/60/17 tire, a short neck and the triple trees have a 1 inch positive offset.

HI. The M&W Pro-Drag4 Igniter box and the Dynatek DCOP coils came in today.. You need the M&W box if you want to use Methanol.
Hi. @roadtoad. The motor is going together. The MAX Race H2O is in. and the frame mods are payed for, to short neck it and to move the swing arm pivot up 12mm. That will make the chain drive the wheel into the ground. also making a battery box and a weight box for the swingarm about 50 lbs right on the arm. That is why I am making the bike light so I can put the eight where I want it. Also it will be good for about 850 HP+. Just think that much HP and still drive it on the street! If all goes well and I have the guts to do it I should do good at the track.

Hi. Yes the motor is over $29,000.00. Chassie, brakes wheels body front end swingarm shock Ti spring over $14,000;00, clutch over $4,000.00, electronics over $5,000.00 and the turbo set up over $19,000.00. So right now I am into it for over $75,000.00 and more to go.
Outstanding bit of kit right there bro  , oh dear me .... where to begin with such a recipe for monster speed and power , streeter too !!! Man I just love that soooo much , what a killer build Mike , 850BHP WOW !! Everything looks absolutely precision , that crank is absolutely beautiful , the cylinder head too . The clutch and cover , I love CNC billet components , everything brand new just waiting for assembly by some gifted artisan .
Thank you for always sharing your build Mike , it is certainly the best I have ever been lucky enough to know about . I know there are some big HP builds out there , and these to are all epic cycles , but even rarer are street ridden /mega HP LSR like your unbelievably tuff build .
Full respect brother , bring it on !!:race:

Keep the info and pics coming Mike, fantastic to see it as the Toad also said.
The crankshaft is absolutely stunning to look at from my computer screen, I use my big hi def tv as a monitor to view it on and it looks the business my friend!
You have amassed some beautifully crafted parts there, can’t wait to see the finished product!
Respect

Hi, @roadtoad 1340, What do you think of me moving the swingarm pivot point up 12mm? Did you remember. The crank is a 2mm stroker and I still have the 20mm gen 1 piston pins. I did this to stay in the 1000cc to 1350cc class. That is why I did not build the 1507cc motor.

Those people who have come to the party for you bro , can see the hard work and dedication you are bringing to your project . It certainly amazes me , the sort of momentum needed to persevere with such a build is not easily maintained , but you my friend have an avalanche of go in you , and are methodically getting it all done expertly , your build ethic is unstoppable .
I am not joking when I say , a big company with massive cash flow will be lucky to have worked it out as good as you and your brain trust friends have , congrats brother , cannot wait for this bike to run .

Very smart bro , it is a blue printed planned out motor , with all things considered and applied , thinking for sure your bike is going to shake things up in that class !!
Hey Mike , you ever want a place to stay on holiday down under , you are welcome here and also your missus , maybe even some of her family....lol
Me dog does hump new people s legs for first few days.....

Who did the head? Assuming Marine crank?
Hi. mj3truck. Yes it is a Marine crank. The head was done by Rick Stetson with Inconel valves and Pax springs,, custom ground Webb cams with an APE roller cam chine and ceramic bearings. It was also painted with Cerakote C-187 Transfer Grey heat dissipating paint. It also has bronze guides and valve seats. It has the stock retainers

Hi My Suomy SR-GP helmet came in today. I will get the weight Friday and post it up. If it weights more than they said it will go back. I bought it from Speed Addicts.
Have a chance to weight that yet. I wouln't bother over a couple ounces if that should be the case. There's probably no way to know if the weight reported for the Shark is accurate. I'd take a half pound lighter than regular composite but I have my doubts if that would be really noticeable in how the helmet feels on my head. I'm more inclined to go with a regular Shoei. I trust that brand after my crash where I took a good thump to the helmet.

If all goes well and I have the guts to do it I should do good at the track.
I don't know if I could do that with a bike that cost that much money. I would do LSR but anything else, I don't know.

Hi. A few new pics.
Those were awesome! That right there would be ten years of buying mods for me.

Keep it under a hundred thou and I'll buy it when you're done with it! It would be worth it. I don't see needing a new bike for the rest of my life.

Yes, especially that.
