My Very Slow Build

Hi. Well it is still a bare frame and a H of a lot of boxes. As things go togather I will post pics. Still getting the swing are pivot raised 12 mmo's. The plenum is still out to be redone to better fit the injectors the ID'S 1050 cc"s lowers and ID's 2600cc's uppers. As Eric at DAS did not like the way the adaptors fit so he is redoing the plenum. Even at $3600,00 it needed more work. A lot of parts still need to be shipped to Huston Texas to be coated at IA Coatings. So still a lot of work to do and a lot of money. DME is still working on the hot side of the turbo and DAS will be facing the cold side. If I can get some one to make the turbine out of Inconal or Titanium for less than ????? I may have it made. I hope to have $40,000.00 set aside to finish the bike by this time next year.
Hi.
Do you have any sort of completion date for your build?

Personally I would need a date where I can set my goal to be done with the build, you've been at it for at least 5 yrs now.
Hi. It all depends on supply of some parts and other people services like all the coatings that needs to be done. Also it has a lot to do with how much $$$$ I can save up and the people helping me have to make time for me. So there is no finish date. I am hoping I will be at Loran next summer if not by the summer of 2024. In 2024 I will be 75. I do not know how many years after that I will still be able to ride. I hope I can be able to ride in to my 80's.

My humble respect and admirations to you Sir.
To keep at it and enthusiastic this long is something to be proud of.
I would have lost interest in it after 18 months.

Keep at it and I’ll be watching it keep developing.
Hi @ otterfish. Thank you it has not been easy. I have been involved in racing all my life. I was involved in setting 154 NHRA records ( I never set one myself. I raced SCCA. I was also involved in many wins and 3 reagenal championships in GT 3. I raced in SCCA F 5000 with my Lola T 142 ( I never won and I did not do to good as the racers had a lot more money and the ones that won had the Lola T 300's and T 330's. I was hoping to get picked up buy a good team as a driver but I crashed in Mosport and that ended it for me. So this is my last build and last chance to do what I dreamed to do all of my life.

You have the patience of a clam, that's a fact.......

Everyone on this board wants to see you tear that thing down a track.

Hi. I am ordering one of the ords and ends parts. This a water pump for the water to air intercooler I just saw it on DME"S parts. I was thinking how I was going to pump the water to the intercooler and this is the answer. Now where to keep the that will only to be used for the cooler. Will I need 2 ice tanks?

Hi. Well one now I need 1 less part as I ordered the battery today from my friend at the Pit Stop Motorcycle Shop. It has 880 cold cracking amps. It should start it with no problem.

Hey Mike , just realized you been racing 3 years longer than I've been hatched !! Also you were already in deep in Nam when I was just a glint in the old mans eye . This build maybe slower than you like coming together bro , but it is going to be done absolutely right , and I'm betting there wouldn't be many in country as intensively scrutinized , squeezed for every ounce of excess out of it , including massive BHP motor build . ICHI BIN LSR Hayabusa :beerchug:
Hi. 1 less part to buy now. I just ordered the battery from my friend who Owen's the Pit Stop Motorcycle Shop. It has 880 cracking ams so it should start the bike just fine.

Hi. The front tire will be ordered next week. I am not sure what brand it will be, but it has to be a 120/60/17 With the least amount of tread so it does not squirm and over heat. Then the rear can be ordered as soon as I get the tec inspectors to approve a car tire. As O have said it has a (y) speed rating for over 186 MPH Imay also shave it down to almost the limit bars too. So every thing is almost ordered. Then it will start to go together. 1 motor 2 body 3 chassis 4 Wireing 5 dyno 6 shake down. Then off to Loring for first test runs.

Hi. I THANK YOU very much but work just dumped on me. I still do not have my leathers yet as I am still trying to lose 30 lbs. I really wish I could have made it as I have a lot of questions for tec like the rear tire and others.
