That is one reason I still love NASCAR. A prayer before every event and people pay attn and actually bow their heads in respect.

say what you will about nascar, but with events reaching a quarter of a million people (some bigger) and throw in a river of beer. and there are only a few public intox incidents.
There are other type events, which if you put that many people together with alot of alcohol, there would be 6 homicides, 11 rapes, 349 illegal weapon confiscations, 82 drug transactions, 22 births and a partridge in a pear tree!
nascar folks might be a bit country and even eccentric, but as a whole are very good people!
