Man,i'm sorry for your loss and i feel your pain.About 10 years ago i had a custom GMC Jimmy:custom paint,rims,hydraulics,custom doors..the works.I came out to go to work and the only thing in the lot was some broken glass where my car used to be!It's a sick feeling when something is stolen from you.

or you could also put a gps tracker on it like i have for a few hundred bucks and track down the mofo's and take back your bike and dish out whatever punishment you see fit.....

Sorry but if someone takes my bike, I DON'T WANT IT BACK. I'll get a new one. That is what we pay those insurance premiums for. Sorry about your luck.

Rhythm, you lost me on the "Freezing the lock to bust it"? How do they do that, with what?  

I've busted many locks with a marlin spike and hammer but never heard of freezing one?

The pro bastids use some type of freeze spray or a hydraulic press to bust your dreamz to pieces. I dont know for sure what type of freeze chemical spray they're using but it does freeze the metal to a point it will shatter on impact.

I guess what I'm wondering is, how do they pick the bike up and take it away w/o anyone noticing?  W/O keys, I would think this thing wouldn't go anywhere, right?  The key kicks off the fuel pump, which is required on these newer bikes, so I can't imagine you just dumpin' the clutch into gear and taking off on it-

Therefore, someone would have to roll it away or load it on a trailer methinks..  Was anyone questioned about the approximate time it was lifted??

Two big burley MOFO's can yank your shid up in no time flat and throw it back into a van or truck and be on there way laughn there zrse's off. Hell even two lil MoFo's can eazily roll you machine down the road on a skateboard under the front wheel and then pull it up on a trailer.

Liquid nitrogen...we use it at work all the time (im a chemist)...very easy to get a hold of wherever u can get tanks of acetylene, compressed nitrogen, pure oxygen, etc. Drops temp of any matter to well below freezing (think as low as -104F)

Yeah or you can use the freon that is in your residential ac system to do the same thing. Ised to see thugs around b more carry a piece of an old refrigerator system around in their pockets. It held a nice charge of the freon and they would spray it on anything metal and then smash it with a small emergency hammer and be on there way. Around here they ride around in a stripped out van and they have fabbed up a fold out ramp. Less than 10 seconds and your bike is theres. Again, my condolances Dude.

That sucks bro. I have been a deputy sheriff for 12 years now and have taken a butt load of reports on cars and motorcycle.

All states are deferent to what address they will let your drivers license and vehicle registration be registered to. If they will let you have a po box or if you have other family in the area use their address. The po box is the best for me.

Hope this might give you and others a way to keep the dirty mo fo’s from getting the stuff that all of use work way to hard to get for them to just take.

Good lQQkn out, Champ, but here in Ohio you can only list a PO box for a mailing address and must list your home address resident.

Or go the alternate route as you suggested but this may be a problem if you need to show proof !
