nitrous kit availability

Has anyone had success with a RPM based "window" switch or just an RPM based switch....i.e. turning off the fuel pump and/or solenoids before the rev limiter cuts in? Not trying to step on any toes here, just curious. What happens id power to the ECU is interuppted?, what about using a modified air kill for stick type coils? Just trying to get you guys thinking....Tom G.

That is how I am getting around the rev limiter problem.
The way the stock ECU limits the rpm is it cuts the fuel not the spark like most rev limiters.
That is one of the reasons the busa's were blowing up with nitrous

A few weeks ago I did reply on nitrous on the Hayabusa. This was running with the FI.
As for kits these are available with all the parts needed from the following places:
Dyno Speed Developments in the UK at e mail DynoSpeed@Tinyworld.com.uk phone 44 0181 500 5770
or TMC in the UK at phone 44 01302 834343

Rick could you send me an email and state the exact problem? I would like to get catch up on this and be sure I know the exact problem before I open my mouth and proptly put my foot in it. Thanks dday@vci.net

Thanks Turbo Rick, I knew it had to be more complicated than that. Perhaps someone can come up with a way to modify the ECU for Turbo/Nitrous use, and add some adjustability as well. The guy that designed the Schnitz boxes maybe....?

I'm about to put my new Busa motor back together and intend to use a PCII.Does anybody know by how much the PCII can retard the ignition? as this will save my from putting the Dyna 2000 back on.
I'm thinking of using the top 100% throttle position ign map to retard it.Everywhere else can be fully advanced, infact if it does work like that you could just switch a resistor in when the gas comes on .

everybody over complicates things any n2o systems will work with injection the map sensor is the variable in the equation and it is neglegable. you can make at least 100 horse on a stock busa motor with nitrous simple physics. I can double the h.p. on a bike whith n20 no sweat.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the pc2 will not retard your timing.I am talking with people now we are working on a n20 system that uses your injectors for the fuel part and an 02 sensor to meter the mix to your programmed a/f ratio of your choosing then there is not a worry about the jet spread being fat or lean.

as with any ram air or air box bike you have to use an rpm activated switch so if the bike coughs or bogs it does not load the motor or the airbox with a lethal dose. on my drag bike i run over 250 hp of the juice. when I get then new DJ 200 in feb.the busa gets the jusa.but ran the juice on ram bikes and inj.bikes before octane and structure are the factors.kill devices should not be of the grounding type.

MOTORHEAD, You might want to put something together and get on the Aftermarket.

Do You have the resorces to do that?

All You have to do is build one that is better & cheaper than the other guy's, then you'll be rich!

I'll buy your first one, even a proto type!
