I was super impressed with McCain's speech. It actually made me tear up a little bit. But I couldn't agree with him more. No matter the differences on issues, WE ARE ALL AMERICANS. Now is the time to finally put the "united" back in United States. I don't know if the recent events these past couple of years would be considered "our darkest hours" but it's time to finally stand behind our new President and work towards a bright, new future. Congrats to Obama. And kudos to McCain in being so gracious in defeat, yet proudly standing TALL as an AMERICAN first and foremost.

While watching coverage of the GOP parties and speeches I saw nothing but white people. You always hear the stereotypes but this was nuts. That is not what America is. Anytime the Obama supporters were being covered, you saw unity and people of all races together. That is what America is about. McCain's speech was classy as hell and we will need his help, no doubt about it. Rudy Giuliani had a great line earlier in the night. He sad that tonight some of us are Democrats and some of us Republicans, but no matter what happens tonight, in the morning when we get up, we are all Americans. We all have to work together to save this country. Weather some of you like it or not, those are the cards we a dealt now. Both parties have plenty of blame for the situation that the country is in right now and we all have to bring it back. I am a Veteran and a White man and I proudly voted for Obama, flame me tonight if you feel the need, but lets take the ride of our lives together starting in the morning. i heard a radio station asking for callers to call and tell them who they voted for and why, what was 1 of the reasons... holy **** all that called had reasons that had ideas that they didnt understand what they were talking about, and when told what will/could happen under this issue most were beside themselves. one started crying were she was told she would be able to afford health care, but not till you are dieing and you will have to drive 80miles to this doc. 2x a week.. but one guy called and hit it on the head, all the big turn out of voter were the young which his point was these are uneducated voters and didnt vote from there education but from there fillings. one thing peeps dont understand is .............. forget it im not a teacher yall are on your own now and will have to live with the bull crap in about 3yrs.
