Passenger Speed

120ish while passing a car. Double tap and were gone ! Its only a few seconds from 50-120 anyway, its over before you know it...lol My wife knows what shes doing also.

What I'd like to know is how many of you speed demons who carry passengers past the triple digit marker does so with the passenger wearing jeans?

Don't stumble and stutter, come on fess up! :dunno:

Full leather kit, whenever we're going out for a hard & fast ride (which is about 75% of the time)......my g/f has got a great set of legs, and I'd prefer (& she'd prolly prefer as well) that she kept 'em like that!

Nah. :rulez:

We wear jeans sometimes, but I have Kevlar inside with knee pads, wifey dumps the pads, but the Kevlar remains. Then, I generally stay within 10 of the posted limit.

I'll run to about 80 with a passenger, mainly because to you it may not be that fast but everything feels 2 times as fast when you are the one not in control. My truck to me feels slow, let a buddy drive it this weekend and i was white knuckling the passenger grab handles:laugh:

I figure it doesnt take much for a passenger to sit up in a corner or lean just wrong for it to be all over. I almost wrecked on bike due to a female passenger freaking out and sitting up in a corner, not gonna do that again:beerchug:

i don't know why you all like going so fast..... honestly

Cause I am a Speed freak!! Ever since I was 8 on my first minibike I always rode it as fast as it would go and it lead on to mopeds then cars motorcycles, SPEED is an adrealine rush!

Just like asking a group of skydivers.... why do you want to jump out of a perfectly good airplane?

SPEED SPEED no such thing as to fast!!

I love that answer! Life itself is all about choices.

My daddy told me as a youngster if I made good choices my life would turn out well and if I made poor choices my life would turn out poor.

My life has been exceptionally great and I choose to wear cowhide everytime I throw a leg over (Personal choice) and I have no scars from any of my crashes to prove it!

Neither do I.

I respect your choices and hope you can reciprocate. Your Dad sounds like a wise man!

Mine has always had her full gear on when doing that fast.

I could have sworn I put a reply on here already.
Alright 116mph on my GS750 back in 1978/9. On the Busa 90mph when overtaking on the motorway, I always feel like Lynne is leaning back-wards and is going to fall off if I accelerate a bit hard, but she says shes ok.

Indicated 100 mph, and 89.7 mph GPS. It was the fastest the bike has been since we bought it. Aaaand, it was an accident. We were on the slab and got stuck in the fast lane with no way out, there was 10 bumper to bumper cars on the left and some jerk on my tail, even at 90 ish mph.
Speed is okay, but it's not worth me getting a ticket to pay and then higher insurance, when I already pay enough.
