As I recall, Honda had some crazy, small displacment, racing bikes that revved to the moon.
Yeah the RC166, a 250cc six! Pistons the size of quarters and valves the size of dimes. Wouldn’t idle below 9,000 rpms but revved to 20,000. When you hear one like this 2012 video they’re always revving them over and over, cause they would die out otherwise. The fastest 250 I ever rode was Suzuki’s X6 Hustler. It could be tuned to outrun 350 four strokes. But this one….
I think you’re too far north for an early February trip. Now if you lived in Arizona….

I’m having my doubts. I lucked out last year in February. And last weekend in the car was sublime. That’s the problem with asking for time off weeks in advance. Perhaps I should pull the wheels and dampers and spend some of that tax return money. Rather not go down and bend the scooter.
What an intoxicating sound......
I rode a few fast 250s, one was my first street bike-a Kawasaki S1 triple another was a 250 Suzuki Gamma, and one was the Yamaha TZR250, the Yamaha was the fastest of the 3 but the Kawasaki sounded the best.
Looks cozy. Do you guys actually individually package ice cubes?
