Prayers, video added  *funeral arrangement added *

Prayers sent out for his speedy recovery and the strength to those who support him and care for him.

I just got a message that Chad had surgery today and should be moved to a room soon. He had 3 fractured vertebra. Here is the best part.....he has feelings and can move his legs!!!

There is POWER in prayer.

Thanks all.

I will post more info as I get it.

That's great news, Kevin!

Continued thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery!

Looks like I got some incorrect info.

Chad DID NOT have surgery today. I just talked to him for about 40 min or so. His surgery is scheduled for Saturday. He is in a step down unit and able to have visitors from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm.

Chad has COMPLETE use of his legs and feet. Folks this IS a miracle. He is eating well he said.

Guys keep praying for him, I know EXACTLY what being in a hospital is like. Chad feels extremely blessed to be in as good of shape as he is in.

Thanks for the update, Kevin!

It's great to hear that he's doing so well right now.

Looks like I will be heading to see Chad tomorrow morning. I may scrap the rally and spend the weekend in Chattanooga.

Any news? How did the surgery go?

Prayers still being sent.
Surgery went well, but took longer than expected.

Chad had 6 vertebra fused together and had a hard time coming out from the anesthesia on Saturday. He spent until mid day Sunday in ICU which folks is a blessing in disguise.

I talked to him earlier today and he is doing well. The pain meds are starting to help. With this type of surgery, the pain is intense. SIL just went through the same a few years back.

Thanks again for all the prayers.

I have five vertebrae fused from a similar accident so I know how he's feeling right now. The pain will actually get much worse before it gets better, but the fact that he can move his feet and legs is GREAT! He's extremely fortunate in that respect.
