Chad is in a hospital in Chattanooga. I am more than likely headed that way tonight. He is just one of those people that like so many here, you bond with and create friendships tied together by our LOVE of this great sport.

Kevin, which hospital?  I could drop by and say hi.  I drive through downtown Chattanooga every day going to and from work.

Does Chad live in Chattanooga?

Guys, Chad has been rushed back into surgery with blood clots to the lungs......please take a minute right now to say a prayer for him.

I am getting info a bit at a time......

This afternoon, Chad was up on the edge of the bed and going to walk, he said he did not feel good and started turning blue. He coded and was rushed to surgery and a CT. The CT showed he has a pulmonary embolism, basically blood clots in the lungs. Screens were placed to prevent the clots from spreading....plus he flat lined on the operation table.

A nuro scan will be done later to see if there is any brain damage.

I am a complete basket case right now. Chad is like a brother to me. Several of our friends are in transit to Chattanooga right now from Columbia and Florida.
