The judge might even be as nice to reduce the violation to a parking violation (I know they do that here in Cali if your driving record is usually clean and the violation isnt that "bad").

Oops, I think I might have made the Leo go away, for good. We were supposed to meet in front of the judge last Thursday to shake hands and agree in front of her (Judge) that this would all go away like Gentlemen. So I appeared Thursday but the Leo did not. The Judge had the dispatcher call the Leo on his cell phone and and request his presence but he said he was to busy. Remember, this is a small town. Not much to keep him busy. So she said I could go and she would be in touch. She was going to speak with the Leo again and find out what his problem was and let me know when would be the next time we should all get together. So this morning I get a call from the Judge saying he still refused to drop this. He does not dispute her dropping the ticket, just meeting with me and agreeing that we would both stay away from each other and not harrass each other in any way. So the judge went to the Chief PoPo and explained the situation. He then spoke with the Leo and got the same attitude and refusal. So as it stands the Leo has been placed on unpaid leave for 14 days and at the end of that time he will be given the chance to make this right or he will be asked to resign.
I'm not sure what to think about this. I feel that I am right in all of this and this guy has the problem. His attitude has justified all I said about what happened and how it happened. So i'm in the clear and he is about to sink himself. If so, it's his own fault not mine. He can either step up and be a stand up guy or keep the attitude and be a punk. An unemployed punk.

I'm glad he is being punished, I'm soooo tired of cops behaving as if they can do whatever they please, without fear of consequences. The majority of LEO's are upstanding guys I'm sure, but there are those few......
I ain't talking about letting your buddy slide on a speeding ticket, or escorting a drunk home rather than giving a DUI, I mean the ones that break laws with impunity.

That's the dummest fuggin thing I've heard in awhile....

What do you guys actually know about this guy? Did he act like a #####, yep. Was it as bad as Goldwanger said....I doubt it. Even if it was, he acted like a jackass too....so no one here took the high ground...just a big 'my d*ck is bigger than yours' story.

Maybe he's just a jackass and deserved what he got. Or...maybe he's just a dude trying to do his job. Maybe he's tired of catching people speeding and doing what he's told to do only to have them react like little babies and try to pull every string they have because they think they're a big fish in their little town. Lets remember this is over a ten over speeding ticket, where the person in question was actually doing ten over. This isn't a story about a false accusation of something criminal.

I'm starting to have a hard time believing that this guys such an ass that he doesn't realize he's sacrificing his job. If he is, then no loss. But, it looks to me like he's a dude whose tired of having to put up with all these whinin' azz people and he's tired of being humiliated by his bosses who make him do lame sh*t like come in and meet with people like Goldwanger who called his mommy, I mean the judge, about a ten over ticket.

So if you're dreaming of making yourself look like an ass, and you don't mind causing all this chaos over something stupid like a small azz ticket, then it sounds like you're headed for glory.

Monty, how do you figure I was speeding. As I said there was a truck in the inside lane that was passing me at the time. The road narrows from 4 lanes to 2 lanes where I was stopped. I was in the outside lane doing about 55 and the truck passed my in the inside lane. The Leo admitted, twice, that he saw the truck in the inside lane overtake me before the outside lane ended. And remember, I am down 1 tooth on the front sprocket. So at an indicated 50 to 55 I was probably doing less than 50. Also remember, 2 bikes ran from him in the same area at the same time the morning before. And when he first walked up to me he had an attitude to begin with. It was not until later that I found out about the bikes the day before. And also, remember, after I found out about the other bikes I said that I could understand his anger. Just not at me. So what's your problem with this. I was not speeding and I agreed with the Judge to shake hands and apologize for my behavior. And by the way, the judge is not my momma. Just someone I have known for many years.

I`m tired of fwcking cops discriminating me on any ocasion they wish. Even judge said once that I`ve benn stopped because I am driving Benz, and another time because by bike looks fast. they hear my accsent and I`ve got ticket no matter what my arguments are. Never a warning, ticket for driving too fast for condition, not stoping on stop sign when I did complete stop, etc, etc...

Any interactions with LEO in my 40 years were NEGATIVE even when my house was robbed and I lost everything.
They assumed that I did it myself and not even tried to look for fingerprints.
Do they care about me? I don`t think so.
Public safety? BS !!!
100% of them I know (key words "I know") lazy and power hungry.
I just wish that some day one of them proof me wrong.

Yea, some are good and some are bad. The problem is the few bad ones are so bad it really effects all the others. The last time I was stopped was for a seat belt and that was 2 or 3 years ago. But I was not wearing it, so no argument. Just paid the fine . No problem. I have never had a problem with Leo's as a rule. But I have had some really bad encounters over the years. I guess Monty thinks I'm some sort of criminal and just lie about everything. I don't get it.
