ROADTOAD's new ride

Well , had a bit of a fiddle with the H2 today , trying to save a bit of coin and time for tuner , so he can fit a Woolich extension cable to ECU and access from then on from under the tail section . Bloody ECU is caged up inside the front top fairing , and you got to free up the top fairing to enable access to the last bolt you cannot get to otherwise . Hassle , Yes , 1st and last time I need to access ECU , I hope so . Very muggy weather indoors and raining outdoors most of the day .

Cool license plate....

I see the two of them made it to your spare room...does this mean the German thingie is in your bedroom replacing the only good bike you owned......:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

No Sarge , the Austrian Euro road rorter is actually parked up against the wall behind H2 , I am standing up against sort of close to where it is parked . I got all my bike parts sitting in all the rooms , filled the whole house now , no spare rooms no more . I am sharing my bed with the dog it seems , well he was sick the other night and I woke at 3.30 am to him on my bed , and 4 spew patches of undigested food , so had to clean everything up before I could remake my comfy old wanking chariot.... bed ...lol and go back to sleep . I was sooo mad , I cannot say , but he might have got covid from us .

Hopefully the fur critter is feeling better...it's tough when they are sick as they can't tell you anything....

Right Austrian.....not German......even though I've been to both places it's sometimes hard to differentiate the two....

I showed my buddy the pictures of your bikes in your bedroom (a while ago) and the wheels in his head started spinning while he was thinking of ways to get his Mustang into his house somehow....of course his wife was less than impressed by this way of thinking but I reminded her that she could easily be replaced.

There are things I miss about being in a relationship with a good lady , but I am happy as things are , so I avoid putting them through the time consuming exercise to only find out , I am a selfish immature pain in the arse , and they be far better off , well far off . But , if I find a girl who rides .... well then that might change the ol toad 's attitude a bit ... I bet spare rooms with bike parts might still be too much over the top , lol .

After 32+ years of being with my wife, she has learned to leave me alone and let me be me and I her....

I'm sure if I was able to, she would allow me to put a bike in the basement family room at least....

Hi
I do wish I could get the bike in the house I do work on parts in the house. I built a motor in my livingroom one time. As for my new girl she just says it is a mans room. So she os all OK with it.

I knew a guy that rebuilt his 327 Chev motor in his room in the barracks....

We used to have weekly walk throughs by the Sgt Major but luckily for this guy he was a gear head and would sometimes stop and check out the work he was doing...

It was all good until he retired and the new guy came in with an agenda....he lost it and lost it hard, that guy had a very short window to get the motor the hell out of the room but little did the Sgt Major know that the guy was a fire fighter and after a big stink and the assistance of a few high ranking officers he was allowed to keep the engine as long as there were no chemicals, fuel or oil present at any time....

Of course the Sgt Major had it in for the guy from that day forward and each and every crap job had his name on it.....

Well , the H2 is home again , back fresh from the dyno room . This bike being a current 2023 model , my tuner has found that Kawasaki has changed up some things with this model fueling over previous H2 models , and until my tuner finds out how best to exploit it ( basically the last 1000 rpm of rev range ) , with direct consultancy with Woolich to help nut it out , this tune is it for now . I will be bringing it in for next stage parts fitment and tune once Lush gets it worked out , this coming wnter is where I aim to get it done . That next stage , will be the whole kit I am still putting together , although really just need the camshaft and clutch update , and it is complete . The tuner did the 1st service oil / filter and air filter plus fitted the woolich ecu cable to this bike , and over 7 hours tuning on the dyno . I already have taken 16.7kg off the porky H2 238KG WET WEIGHT , so the bike is a true 1 bhp to 1 kg with this current tune , till I fit wheels etc. to get more kg off .
This hp and torque figures were attained with the decible killer in place , it was what I wanted to keep in pipe for this 1st tune , because it really is too much of a cop magnet if any louder than it already is , for now anyway .

No Sarge , once I finally decided to sell , and my mate presented that bag of cash , I walked away happy from that deal , with renewed excitement to move forward with the promise of a new project . It is actually great to see my mate ride and enjoy it , and begin to add things to make it his own . Johnnie liked that bike from first time he ever seen it , and asked to let him know if I ever wanted to sell . So a few years later , he got it .
The Busa has now been replaced with the H2 in my stable , it will always be a ride to remember for me , and messing around on the roads together like today was great fun . But when we park them up , it amazes me that most people come over to look at the H2 , and only then notice the special Busa .

That's because, 'look, an H2', and nobody pays much attention to an old Busa.
At a distance, your Busa looks much like any other, until you get close enough to see that something is a little different, then hey, it's got this, or that, wait a minute...the whole thing is aftermarket!
Not many eyes spot what an awesome machine that really is.
lol
