ROADTOAD's new ride

They will something to try out for sure . Unsprung weight with BST save , should be the go on the ZX14R and your Gen 2 . I really think your bike might be the best build Gen 2 for lightweight I know of , if you continue on as you are now . @Dai. Has also built a couple of Gen 2 to the tip level , as has @fallenarch .
Thanks a lot bro that means a lot. I wasn't mechanically inclined but I'm learning fast. Still searching for titanium chain lol.

I'm trying my best to lighten my bike but keep it 100% streetable and looking complete not gutted and bare. I figured out a way to use the Montgomery carbon headlight and tail light inserts but keep the same visibility. That will definitely save a few pounds.

The further I go I'm having to get creative to find ways to get the weight down

Fitting the Stylemas from the 2023 H2 across to the 2015 H2 , along with Corsa Corta clutch and master cylinders . The 2015 bike is ready for derestrict / tune , but we got winter starting now , so not in a real hurry .

I've been thinking about robbing the Brembo RCS17 mc off of my unfinished Gsxr1k...and putting it on my Goldwing
lol, and get another for the 1k this winter

What calipers are on the wing Six , could be a good plan . You can never have too much stopping power , especially wing weight .

They are Nissin calipers, I'm not sure which model.
I'll have to check and see.

Got the 2015 back from the tuners today . It has been gone for a couple of months , I still got to put it back together . I included a pic of the bike , to show the Vandemon Ti brushed colouring . I had intended to get the Stylemas fitted , but the lines need working out , so I will do that over the next couple of months , now it is winter here .
The lads did fit the Woolich cable , the pair valve block off , the HD clutch springs and RCS16 clutch fitment . The turbosmart blow off valve and then the actual tune .
Stock pipe it made 190bhp and 92ftlb , then , tuned it made 246 bhp and 102ftlb . This 2015 is Euro 4 compared to my Euro 5 2023 H2 , which is waiting on that final 1000rpm fueling to be cracked . That '23 bike will be sent off before next summer .

Big gain......that thing must have been choked off pretty good....

It will be interesting what the new one will make if it will be similar to this one....

I watch a few videos from 650ib and JoeSTI where they are making north of 300...what are they doing different?

My things are just piped and fueling mapped . 650IB bike is about a US$80,000 bike , so a lot of things done to it . He has done a lot to the motor , the supercharger gears , stage 3 tune , so who knows what else . JoeSt , a lot of the same I would guess , they both are far more than stock with pipe and fueling map like my things currently are .
My '23 has more to come with unlocking the fueling map , should end up similar to the '15 I would guess . Once it comes back from tuners closer to my summer , I will decide which bike gets to go stage 2 , all the kit I already have waiting for this decision to be made .
My things will most likely both stay short wheelbase , to ride in hills . I might get a quick adapting kit together to stretch the more radical stage 2 setup bike , but not sure for now .
The fasted H2 are stage 3 + , saw footage of a 400bhp H2 the other day , in the US of course . I will try out stage 2 first , that has to be about the limit for short wheelbase

I could never see myself using that kind of power that these guys are making........the roads around here suck for riding as they are rough, often covered in gravel or sand, have farm equipment running around on them and overall bad drivers....

I can barely use the power I have and rarely if ever get hard on the throttle. I have only ever seen one H2 in the wild, I've seen a couple ZH2s in our capital city but that is the limit.

There are a lot of liter bikes for sale here these days pretty much due to what I mentioned.........on top of that, if a person is caught going 40 kms/hr over in an 80 zone or 50kms/hr over in a 90 zone, they lose their license, get their bike impounded and face huge fines and further license loss.....insurance would be next to impossible to get after that.

Same really over here now Sarge , always very limited by the road conditions , the cops and consequences of speeding , lastly the older drivers and new drivers to dodge and avoid .
I will enjoy all my bikes as I can , as opportunity presents is how I always ride . The H2 's will be my crazy machines , as mentioned , they will be short wheelbase , but the stage 2 bike could also be occassionally street drag raced with stretched arm fitted , if desired . They will be treated special to ride on special ride days . I got my other bikes to enjoy for that and everything else .

Must be one of those truck "trains' they have there....I saw lots of them when I was there.

We have B Trains here (double trailers).
The "trains" we call "Road Trains" they have a prime mover and 3 or 4 trailers and are restricted to highways outside of cities or city regions. A B-Double typically has a Prime mover and one short trailer followed by one long trailer. This is the biggest combination allowed on city roads. Some times on the highway you'll come up behind one and it isn't obvious it's two trailer job, it's only when you pull out proper to overtake that you realize it's the big one and then you're glad you're on a Busa. I like to drop down to third or even second before I pull out even if the road ahead looks clear for some ways. They are not the sort of thing you want to linger around.

I bet they blow you around just a wee bit too
lol
Always cool when you break through their air as you pass them, eapecially at high speeds.
