I'm a retired guy-the days of playing with expensive toys is behind me now. I put my money into my house now. I enjoy living vicariously through all of you though. There are some amazing and talented people on this site.

While you may not truly need this level
of performance in your daily rides ,
these are way more than eye candy .
I recently got to ride a stock Hayabusa and
that really made the difference obvious !
Admittedly when I got mine I was after the candy
but get used to that control and it is like a drug .

But yes, those forks are magnificent, the holy grail of suspenders.
I think you normal sized people probably think us porky types are crazy but the OEM suspension/brakes on the Busa were scary. I have bounced out of the seat or really thought I wasn't going to get it stopped in time on many occasions. The one that really got me was in a lean getting bounced 3-4 feet off line. I'm sure I could have figured out a spring/oil setup to make the OEM front work for my weight, but I rode with the compression at 100% all the time. Guess it's not inexpensive being fat!

Hi. I know it is hard to lose weight! I am trying hard. I take about 12000. steps a day at work.
As we age, it gets harder and harder it seems...
I have had 2 weeks off my usual walking exercise with my dog , because he had a couple of operations (blocked eye duct lump and fatty cyst on chest) . We will be back onto it next week .
