Russia and Ukraine

And Russian ground troops will likely freeze to death at a faster rate than the Ukranians.
Russia is going to sit back and hammer ukraine into oblivion from a distance, they don't care anymore. Ukraine is going to suffer greatly this winter if peace doesn't come soon. Russia is actually doing something "smart" smash the infrastructures, cut the gas and attack cities. Winter is brutal without heat, power or shelter.

All very true. But Ukraine will continue to advance if Russia doesn't have so much as a Frontline in place. Ukraine has a LOT more offensive capabilities than they did since last Feb

I remember this started out with Molotav cocktails against one of the largest military forces on earth.

Thanks to the west...

Now Ukraine is demanding more arms and ammo....not asking anymore....

Till winter comes... ukraine will never ever get Donbass or Crimea back without nato's direct help which means boom we all die and Russia will never ever control all of ukraine aslong as they are supplied weapons and supplies from nato.

Yeah we are all pregnant now. Gotta see this out to the end together.

I think this latest round brings the U.S. up to $1T in aide. Kids are expensive!

How much are European nations who have the most to lose contributing to this proxy war? I know they have sent some but nowhere near our commitment level. Wonder why that is? Zelensky have a hard drive with all our politicians dirty secrets or what?

Right ok

UK defence minister Ben Wallace flies to US for crisis meeting

Ukrainian news black out for invasion of Kherson

Thousands of Russians being evacuated and leaving this district

Tensions be getting real

Did you know most deaths from nukes is from the shock wave? Best way to survive lay face down with your feet pointing towards the blast and your hands covering your ears.

Then find shelter (hoping any is left lol) fast and wait out the fallout.
Feet first might expose my nuts though? Ankles together?

The best thing to do in a nuclear attack is to find out where ground zero is, get a lawn chair then go sit right at the spot the nuke hits.

This conflict has given us a bit of a view of a modern large scale conventional war....

Countries (like mine) who have been complacent for years and years and have let their military basically fall apart should really be looking at capabilities right now.

Recruiting and retention is a huge issue in western militaries...if a large conflict were to erupt, people won't be flocking to recruiting centers like they did during World War 2....instead they will either flee (like they did during Viet Nam) or refuse to enlist and would rather be jailed.

We look at Russia which had one of the largest standing armies in the world and it is floundering for both manpower and equipment to the point where it could be ineffective.

They are floundering so bad they have ‘conscription units’ going around and snatching men up off the streets. They are snatching up homeless people. They are offering reduced or commuted sentences to criminals. Russia is desperate for man power and NOBODY wants to go. They know it’s an unjust cause and or certain death. If it was a true fight to save the motherland every Russian male would gladly show up, no different than any other country and its population. But they know the truth. It’s an unjust invasion and outright murder of which they want no part of.
