His name doesn't ring any bells but I worked with a lot of people over the years and sometimes I can't even remember the names of guys who went through my team.
We primarily worked closer with SEALs, Delta, Rangers and Marine Force Recon people but we also worked with a few conventional forces as well here and there..
........and I can't remember the names of any of the people we worked with......I'm bad with names....now faces I remember...

Crazy how that happens....
Some people can remember names so easily.....one of our former Chief of Defense Staff (commanding general) was like that....he would meet someone once and even if he doesn't see them again for years, he remembers their name......
Someone who I recognize will walk up to me and say "Hi Bill" and for the life of me I can't remember their name and feel like a heel....

I was at the grocery store this morning and the guy who takes care of the bread section was there with his son who was hanging out with him and helping a bit...
This son is a former Canadian soldier and is part of the international brigade fighting in Ukraine...I talked to him for well over an hour about how things are there......
They absolutely love Zelenskyy......he visits them and goes into the trenches and always treats them with the utmost respect often thanking them for being there......he said they had a couple Russian POWs they were taking to the HQ and when they saw Zelenskyy they begged him to let them fight for him against Russia, one of them kissed Zelenskyy's hand and he said he has never seen something like that before so was kind of shocked.....
He also said most of the Russians are poorly trained and equipped.....they've captured some wearing clothes taken off the dead who were transported back to Russia, there was still blood stains on some of it.....and they were wearing armor vests with cardboard or wood in it because they didn't have anymore ceramic plates....most if not all the Russians and North Koreans they have captured were all hungry, some of them hadn't had anything to eat for days, he said they ate everything they gave them and were looking for more....
One guy they captured was lost from his unit for a week or more and stumbled into their trench lines, he had no ammo, and said he was only given one magazine when he got off the truck.
He said they were a bit worried when they heard North Korea has joined the fight but the first firefight they had with them, they killed and captured an entire battalion pretty quickly....they had Russian officers leading them.....they had no medics and very little support and supply capabilities......and none of them wanted to be there....at all......most denounced their loyalty to North Korea and were more than content if they never went back.....He said they took them to a detention area and they have never seen a TV before so the guards put them in a room where there are TVs and there's not one peep out of them...
They brought in a bunch of X Boxes and he said it is like babysitting toddlers.....except these ones make their beds, clean up after themselves and all want to fight for Ukraine......he said it's a really weird thing to see....
He heads back over soon and hopes the ceasefire happens but none of them trust anything that comes out of Putin's mouth so are ready to keep on fighting if they have to....
He said I should go over and join them as there are a few old retired guys there and a quite a few former special forces guys who formed a unit on their own. I laughed and said no thank you.....

Right after the phone call with Putin, Trump cancels the search for missing Ukrainian children, probably absolving Putin of much guilt. The more details leaked, the less this watered down ceasefire looks like a good outcome for Ukraine.

You can't fix an ingrained ideological mindset....................same as we haven't been able to fix the socialist/democrat problem in the US where they think the world/minds can be bought for pennies, and free people should do as their told to by government and their minions - OR ELSE.
Same as you will NEVER get China and Russia to like each other, they may band together to combat a common enemy but deep down they hate each other and have for centuries. The same issue with Palestine and Israel, they both HATE each other to their cores and the parents teach the children the same so it continues from generation to generation without knowing why.
Russia and Ukraine is in the same boat................................and quite frankly being Israel is harbouring Neo-nazi's, they loose all moral support right there from me. Ukraine hasn't figured out they CANNOT win this war through sheer will alone, and negotiations and compromise is the ONLY solution. Will they be happy with all the terms? - NO, but get over it. Being sad is better than being dead.
Sadly Zelenskyy is stupid enough he'd fight to the last man, and thus Russia would simply take everything and erase Ukraine very existence from history.
Anyone who believed he could fix it in a day is lying to themselves.......................................It's like saying the Palestinian conflict will be wrapped up in hours - GOOD LUCK with that.

I am honestly concerned about your blind hatred for Trump.............................................You seem to be target fixated on him for some reason.
Seriously, you should probably seek professional help at this time and perhaps go outside and live your life rather than live through your hatred for one person. Your wasting a lot of energy focusing on things you CANNOT change, and missing things you can everyday in your life.
Put the internet down for a few days, and go outside. Forget about politics for a few weeks, and busy your hands/mind with something else that brings you joy.

In Canada, Israel is our Allie so I will always side with Israel here, and I'd like to see Israel from sea to sea. I understand that Islam will NEVER assimilate to western culture, and I think the west should stop appeasing, bending the knee and being tolerant of Islam's intolerance of others.
As far as I am concerned In the west, if you refuse to assimilate into the culture, you should not come...................Why do you want to change the new country you came to, into the poop hole you left?????. We would be treated to the same treatment, and hostility in the middle east if we tried to change it there, so why should we be any different?
