well if you dont like stretched bike thats fine then dont click on the SHOW-ME-STRETCHED link and bash us. We all have what we enjoy and put our thoughts into. yo commut_busa is that fuel cell nhra compliant? i have never seen that before i was jw if that gave you any hassle at the track. ill have picks of my race bike up later when i get home.

I doubt that he was calling you a poser. He said "poser arms" And generally speaking, stretched Busa's are just that - poser's. Stretching a bike is for drag racing. Most of the guys with strected Busa's do it for looks only, hence the posing comment

Like Johny mentioned I'm a LSR kinda' guy. The fuel cell is SFI approved and has a certificate. I can't image the NHRA having issues with it. It's a pro-stock tank so I would use that as my argument.

Thats an awsome looking tank. As for the haters, guys common we dont like to drag our knees as much as our oil pans we all like differant things.
 
that's a good question... in the mile it's been 211.9mph. I was just doing some shakedown runs at the last event and playing with the chassis/suspension.It still has some teething to work through. It's got more in it. I would have to make some changes before running it down the quarter mile and they would probably ban me after the first run for not having a nhra/ihra license. :laugh:

There all Busa's - - - I just wanted to see some stretched Bikes - - - Didnt want to start civil war.

commuta - can you tell us what you have under the fairings ? I read your list of endorsements, just wondered what you had going, and the fuel you run, etc.

That's just how it goes around here - no big deal at all. We all argue amongst ourselves till a Kawasaki guy comes on here - and then we all band together and turn on him.

I dont remember bashing anyone. I just dont get it. I guess if you are using it to drag and its a functional thing thats one thing. I just stated that I dont like the way they look, thats hardley bashing anyone.
 
Here's mine set at 10.5" I like it. You wanna hate? Then go drag a knee somewhere away from here.

Fact is, my bike handles fine and I can ride the curves on it no problem. Does it turn as well as a stocker? No, but the handling isn't affected nearly as bad as people say it is. The biggest thing that affects my Busa's handling is how low it is.

For LSR I run VP's Q16 (is really only good for my specific setup and prob not a good idea for most others to run)
