I have seen a few guys around here with just one rotor and I have said "WTF" why would anyone do that?
I was thinking that they were putting looks in front of safety.

Since I dont know everything I have decided to ask for some help on this.

What do you think? Be honest.....

go ahead and pull it.  Pick up the dummy rotor and caliper block off from PPM Customs. It does look better, but it performs better also. In turns you can fully brake without worry'n about the bike standing up. Does it brake as fast as 2. No, but it has it's bennefits. I rode the dragon with 1

no problems

it does look way better, but that's all I know. I ride with Rockadaous and I will admit he hasn't never had any problems!

IF you ride then keep both rotors but if you just want to be a parking lot pimp or trailer queen as some one stated before then go with one rotor.

i would assume that it would hurt braking unless just want a show bike but it would be easyer to clean the rims that would be nice maybe you should take off both rotors and just use the back and go barney rubble on the pavement

sorry usually not that much of a smart ass

I will say this. If you plan on doing it upgrade your brakes.
I still have a stock rotor at the time, but I did run EBC HH brakes
Upgraded to SS line and ran new fluid. New rotor is in the plans.

it all depends on what /how they use theit bike...
I also think it's stupid to throw a 12 over arm and a 300+ tire on the back...
Some people will argue that having a turbo charged busa is senseless too...

it all just depends. Just shows the flexibility of the bike.

I say keep both on, I live in Florida where every Senior comes to Retire and pull out in front of You. You,ll need all your Rotors and then something more.

I've seen pics of what happens when the caliper mount fails after prolonged use of just one rotor and caliper... isnt pretty! The bike is heavy, designed with two rotors... if your riding alot on the street, it needs two rotors IMO...

FOR THE STREET, I WOULD STAY W/2 ROTORS.YOUR NEVER KNOW WHATS GOING TO DART OUT IN FRONT OF YOU. BUT ON MY DRAG BIKE I ONLY USE 1.
