Wow...just saw this thread, I've really gotta get on here more often. I would love to join you guys on this awesome ride but we're going to my son's graduation from Army basic training.

Just checked my planner and I'm OFF those days. I need more info about where the ride will start, I may have to get a place to stay for the night.
Posted two resumes and picked up two leads.
Owen...that's great news! Let's see who we have to draw from -- assets to draw upon for a place for you to 'light' while you're here.
I'll get 'hold of Lamb today and see if we can pin those rides down and post 'em up. The days draw near!!!

Saturday the 13th of december. Meet at Pala casino at 8:30, leave at 9:00. There is a great big gas station out front. Ride to Palomar montain....out to Montezumna Valley.... out to The Borrego (lamb) desert. Yaqui pass and up the Banner grade to lunch at Julian at approximately 12:30-1:00. Take our time at lunch and ride back out to Palomar through Santa Ysabel and Mesa Grande. We will early dinner at Pala casino. Approximate time will be 4:00 They have a giant buffet and we can gorge to our hearts content. The northern guys will have a nice jumping off point to go home and the southern guys won't have that long of a trip home. Lamb will try to post some maps if he can.

Sunday will be the Eastern San Diego loop. Greenfield mobil and the I-8 will be the starting point at 8:30 meet and 9:00 leave. We will ride all the great roads of east county including Sunrise Highway, Lyons Valley, Japatul Valley, Banner grade and the S2. The goal is to have the Phoenix guys to the I-8 and Ocotillo at 12:30 or so because they have a long slab home. Sundays ride is a bit more up in the air at this point based on how the Phoenix guys feel. There is a lot of dropping off points to get you guys home quicker etc. if you so choose.

Howdy All,
Just joined thanks to Lamb Busa. I may have this particular weekend off. I'll check in as the date gets closer, but it sounds like something I've been wanting to do (though I need to check the condition of the tires too, since my Busa has been more of a commute vehicle for the past year or so).

Though its most likely I will. Either that or the TI2TT pack. Or both!
You plan on being there? Would be good to put a face to the name and discuss the next weekend's ride.

Saturday, huh? I was planning on going with some folks from another board I frequent (SCS), but to be with like-minded individuals would be cool! Let me see which day my wife can make it too. It would be good to meet the lot of you!

Lamb will be there, he has a CBR600 that he tracks.
