Wohoo!, just checked the ten day forecast for San Diego and it's going to be clear and cool. 61 deg. No rain 'til Monday.
This is going to be off the chain~
who what?
You guys are going to have an epic ride. I should be coming along to document the event photographically, but alas, I haven't bought my bike yet. That, and my riding can't even touch you guys!
I would dearly love to ride pillion on a ride like this with such a skilled bunch of riders, but I'm not asking.
(I do have the passenger skills such that my presence alone would would only minimally detract from the ride, but I know that any rider with good enough judgement for me to be willing to even sit behind wouldn't offer pillion on such a ride lightly.)
But I can still dream. And I do, trust me.
So, I would like to ask everyone of you guys to bring a camera of some kind and take pics! Yes, everyone! Take tons of pics! Please, do it as a special favor to me. Thanks, you gents are the best.
Have an amazing and safe ride!

Wish I were going. I'd put you on the back of that bike in a heartbeat.
Rich, are you going to be able to go on this?
--Wag--
I'm going down to Ron's in my truck, then we are going down to Vinny's in Ron's truck with his bike in the back. My shoulder is not strong enough to ride yet. I just got back this morning from my 1st PT appt...please pass the Vicodin, my shoulder hurts
That sucks about as much patootie as my dr. telling me I can't ride for six months. I just laughed at her. Tomorrow, I have my final debate with her about it.
Still, wish I were going out there. We could gimp along in the truck behind the group at least. It's cold and rainy here and riding would be pukey anyway.
Time to do some maintenance anyway.
Recover well, man.

The Dr. doesn't need to know anything about when I get back on a bike...if I would have already got the parts, then I would be wrenching this week and riding this weekend. I think I'll be able to wrench and ride in another two weeks.
Just returing off of deployment and need to shake the dust off my baby. Already in the San diego area ,and cant wait to catch up with you guys.
