SoCal Wipe Out (Updated: Note from JimmieSD)

any pic of the approach ? does not look like he got very deep into the corner unless he was just flying....

No other pix, Randy, though it could be arranged for next weekend...

Rest assured, though, he was 'just flying.' That curve is one of the most open and manageable corners in a several-mile quagmire of super-tight, technical corners.

Crazy when you look at it--just how so much damage could have been done in so little space...all in the blink of an eye.

I hope your friend gets better soon... From someone who can identify with the pain he's feeling -- recommend intravenous(IV) dilaudid(hydromorphone) definate helps with sleeping and working through pain. 4 mg IV every four hours made my recovery alot easier. Makes you perfectly loopy the first two hours then tails off. I was on pain meds 24/7 for 3 weeks and the only downside is detox - about three days of feeling like crap and just being pissed off...

no need for more pics... explanation was good.... guy is lucky to have friends around..

Get well soon, Remember, a positive attitude goes a long way towards healiong up. Scar, thats your job, keep him in good spirits, its friend:rulez:

Sending a big OHIO charge of positive energy out your way! Oh that sounds so SOCAL..

Jimmy, we send y'all our best. Get well soon!

Damn Scar, looks like he could not have done a better job if he had a gun sight on that tree! From the skid marks it appears he was down before he ever reached the tip in point?

The good thing is, he is still alive. I hope he is showing signs of improvement this morning!

Sorry to hear this! Looking at the pics, it is difficult to understand how or why he went down that early into a gentle sweeper. But that is neither here nor there.

What's important is he gets well!
