I am not picking on the seasoned(remember ?), I would conside it an honor to make a quick lap with ya....Thanks for doing the email thing.
I think I know how Fat Kidd Racing rolls--quickly.If it feels right for me that morning, I may roll too. It not, I'll just have more pancakes.

Were comin from w'loo iowa.Sounds Like Im gonna skip Chicago & Madison, and head down I35 from Minneapolis to Iowa, than into KS and meet up with Yort and his crew late Wednesday night or Early Thursday Morning. Anyone from MN or Iowa wanting to hook up, drop me or Yort a PM and we can sort things out.

Another suggestion- Up 129 in the AM before it gets packed, west on 411, south on 360 to Tellico, then bring it home on the Cherohala. You could probably squeek the Foothills in the same loop. Not that the loop you suggested isn't killer........I totally agree with Warbaby. I think we should try to stage a group ride from the CROT to Fontanna Dam and then possibly back round to Robbinsville via 28. That loop is fairly easy, a good road to ride in a group and would provide some good photo/video opts.
I also think we'll wind up in several other "groups" just based on interest level and timing for heading out on other rides. As anyone that has been there knows (and for you newbies) the CROT is like the central point for most rides and folks meet up there through out the day. I'd say that we probably will have folks that want to head to the skyway when others want to do the dragon and foothills. So I totally expect that we'll have 5-6 or more groups of riders all over the area.
But we should all sign off on the group ride Sat morning. If we are going to do the photo around 9-930, maybe we should just say meet at the CROT by 930a and then group ride to Fontanna. What say you all

well I think he's suggesting we do it as the group ride after the pic.
I'm thinkin we pull out of the CROT at 930 heading down 28 to Fontanna Dam, get the pics done and whatever for maybe 30ish mins, then head on the group ride. I suggested back up 28 to whatver that road is, back to Robbinsville or CROT because its fairly tame, ends up back at the "starting" position for most folks and then everyone can roll to wherever from there. I'm thinkin we are done with the group ride around lunch, so maybe hit the CROT as the ending point and then everyone can break off and ride whichever route they want

heh, you'll probably stay up for the brats and burgers but I'm guessing if you ride correctly on Friday, getting to bed early *isn't* going to be a major problem. Last few times, I think the latest anyone was up was 1am... and that was me and Jeremy... everyone else bailed around 11-12a
