Vman, when in march were you thinking of going? being new to VA, I've never been to Deals Gap.

well if there is a march event, I'm betting its *almost* april when folks go... unless its just a warm spring time up there. Deals Gap is a fun time though, so if there's a pre run I'm gonna try to make it

Vman, when in march were you thinking of going? being new to VA, I've never been to Deals Gap.

Nothing definate yet. March in theose mountains can bring 70's and sun or 20's and deep snow.

When I make a decision it will be on a Tursday or Friday before. I will let the weather pick my weekend.....

I just went through the GAP on Friday.....everything was closed......but the roads were clear and being enjoyed by a few of the locals.

I also visited the Phillips (to check out my room)......the lady there said she has plenty of firewood....due to the lack of patrons and mild winter this year, very little has been used.

I am glad that I visited too....the cottage she had me in was not going to suffice for 3 couples...I was accomidated with another room ( albiet at a slightly higher rate ... lol ).

Myself and a friend or two are going to try and make it up from Savannah. We will be doing the camping thing.
Sounds like a blast!

When are yall going im in augusta a friend of mine is riding out of swainsboro maybe we can meet up and ride up.. we usually go up 2 or 3 differant ways to ride the differant rodes....

We rode to Augusta a couple of Saturdays ago and got some grub. Saw a really nice black R1 with chrome wheels riding around.

I missed something what about a track day I have never done it before can you elaborate I know they have one in atlanta but i heard its like 1000.00 for one day or you have to get ten people to go in on it....Not sure how true that is. Also heard If you are not ranked that you can not pass anyone...
