Decided to go and crop this photo. Looks a little nicer like this.
Got rid of my kickstand switch, and reversed my shifter. Did a little testing on Dragy today and did a 9.7 in Mexico. Spun up to 60 or so, had to get out and back in. So I think it's going to be pretty quick in a couple weeks when I go back to the strip. I also think I'm going to raise the rear back up just a little bit, because the tire is rubbing too much when it squats.
Spent another day at the track yesterday. I thought I was going to go quite a bit faster but I guess it wasn't my day. Ended with a best of 9.41 @ 154.6. So I did get quicker and faster since last time, just not as much as I was expecting. I did not end up getting around to raising the rear, and I think that is partially to blame, but my launch still needs work. Half the day the track was a bit damp too, so we were all running a bit slower for the first part. I'm trying to get as close to 9.00-8.99 as I can, exactly how the bike sits, before I start messing with gearing and other things I have in mind. I just want to be fast vs relying on mods to get there.
Raced a 1441 bike and he got out about 3-4 car lengths on me and if I had another 1/8 I would have passed him at the finish. Anyway, still got some photos from yesterday.
I've been wearing my Dainese suit the last couple times, but I finally got my 2 piece drag suit in yesterday. I was looking into a Vanson suit originally but just really didn't want to spend the money so I was on the fence. This guy hit me up on Instagram and offered to make me a suit. I thought it sounded kind of weird at first so I told him I would think about it and messaged him off and on for a few days. The price was literally half of a Vanson suit so I just thought I would give him a shot and see how it turned out.
He asked for a lot more measurements than Vanson was requiring and shot me pics and videos throughout the process and made some good suggestions as well. I had some other racers message me asking me what I thought of him because of some of the messages they'd received from him but I believe this to just be due to the language barrier (He is from Pakistan).
I'm overall very happy with the suit and recommend anyone else starting to get into drag racing, that is worried about cost, to go through him to get started.
My bike is all torn apart waiting for a few things. I thought while it was apart I would do some simple mods that hadnt been done officially yet. Had the pair caps capped off, but I went ahead and put the Brock's plates on now instead. I cut out the ABS a few nights ago, and will hopefully be getting around to installing the new Galfer lines this afternoon. Going to do some cleaning inside as well.
Montgomery CF bars, and fitted some quick releases on the tail. I keep breaking aluminum bolts in my DME subframe and I'm sick of it, so everything is going to QR now. Galfer lines are installed up front, but haven't been bled yet. Waiting on a custom rear line from those guys currently.
I also just gave all the stuff inside a wipe down for the first time since I've owned the bike. It was looking pretty dusty.
Waiting on a tank, and still have to install my DME clutch cover.
I think I'm going to head out to Indiana in August for the Airstrip Attack event. I'm really curious what I could go in a half mile with the current setup.
Finally this thing is back together. I had a CF tank on order and after 8 weeks the company still had not started it so I just told them to give me my money back. Montgomery was backordered on the quick release buttons but they finally came in last week and I got everything done this morning.

Basically done with this thing for a while. Just going to ride and race it. Back to work on the 750. After that I'll be back on to the GS1000. I've been way too busy and have spread myself too thin across my projects.

Also, did some racing yesterday with a few fast bois
Go Pro died on me during the runs but I salvaged what I could and put a few clips together. The main reason for the meet was for me to race the Turbo R6, but I ended up running with the ZX10's as well and they put the smackdown on me
