The election is over

I think Bumblebee did a good post, factual and addressed my comments somewhat.

You either did not read it, or are just ignorant, or perhaps have little insight of what makes the world go round.

Anyway, as usual you addressed none of what I said.

Stupid I can take, but dealing with an idiot is a little harder.

That’s right. We’ve been dealing with an idiot and his followers for four years so why should I be bothered with addressing what you said?

Well put .

I have always done the same
but honestly Trump
has tested me .

Laugh out loud .

That is the decency we now have to celebrate?
Wuzza hit it in the head. The return to decency I referred to is getting Trump out of the White House. I'll give him that the economy was fine before the virus hit but he has been a constant A$$. His refusal to reach across the political aisle, in fact talking about Democrats as if they're the enemy, the roughian treatment of other countries, his refusal to denounce white extremists, his childlike refusal to admit when he's wrong...the handling of the pandemic (lying about the severity to keep us from panicking? WTF!!), his horrible behavior towards John McCain...I could go on forever. I'm not a fan of Pelosi either, and it looks like there's a chance that we're stuck with Mitch McConnell for a while longer, but getting Trump out is a great move in the right direction IMO.

I think a whole pile of crap is awaiting him the minute he is out of office-the IRS, human rights advocates, harassments cases, etc...his wealth will help him I'm sure...

How he is reacting to this election really sheds a new light on him and the people surrounding him.

My wife and I watched the John Wayne movie "Stagecoach" a while ago and during a scene a banker was mentioning they needed a businessman as president instead of a politician.....how did that work out I wonder??

Can you imagine Joe Biden the president and Donald Trump the vice?

When all of this voter fraud by the Democrats, deep state, and MSM is exposed to the world and President Trump is re-elected by a landslide, you'll see Antifa rioting and burning everything in sight again. By the way, the mainstream media doesn't choose the President like they just did. It's all in the electoral votes. After all of the fraud voting is discounted and only legal votes are counted, Biden will lose a lot of electoral votes. Who will get them? Our second term President - Donald J. Trump.

Either way it's an ugly thing to watch...

Don't forget about the Satan worshiping pedophiles, and the child sex trafficking ring that only Trump can stop!

That really undermines the whole concept of democracy in your country...two people ran, one person won, like it or not. I can't see the Democrat party (or any party) being so stupid as to risk a civil war within the US in order to win by fraudulent means....

I can kind of see how people blindly followed leaders in other wars we have fought just by watching this election...and it's a scary thing to see.

Does it? Or does it solidify the concept of democracy when the actual winner wins an election?

No one has won yet. Votes are still being counted, LOTS of inconstancies are popping up and the election has not been called by anyone other than the mass media and the Democratic party. If it turns out that Biden didn't actually win, will the left stand by their insistence of acceptance and pleas of unity for America? Hell no. If if turns out that Trump did win, you'll see rioting, violence and cities in flames again. Something that's not happening right now even with 70+ million Republican voters very disillusioned and very angry. Funny that.

It's not over until it's over and I don't blame Trump one bit for not conceding. He has no reason to at this point.

Only time will tell....it's supposed to be a democratic process that is just and fair but this process is being undermined by the president himself.....not a good thing...his actions to rile up his supporters will not help the US in any way, shape or form. If he has the proof required, he should be shutting up and letting the legal process do it's job.

I don't normally get involved with anything political but sometimes Mr Trump is way over the top and makes me cringe at times. He had some good ideas but these get lost in how he communicates to others-more like a CEO than a president of a democracy..

The rioting and violence had nothing to do with voting and more to do with racial injustice.

...and here we are again-two Canadians talking American politics like we know what we are saying...

I spent my entire adult life being commanded by whatever government was in power so honestly what do I know??

Here we go again, uninformed, misinformed or just plain stupid.

Sticks and stones, Wuzza.

Is the election over? No.

Maybe you’re just unfamiliar with our ballots. Many (most?) voters pay far more attention to the presidential candidates than they do other offices. Some of us still believe in the importance of the three ‘divisions’, the senate, the house and the office of the prez, to ensure that checks and balances against having too much power are securely in place. Sadly, many voters don’t place the same weight on senators and reps as they do the highest office. The same ballot that lists the presidential candidates however also lists the senators and house rep candidates. If there was widespread tampering or whatever the pubs are calling it, why then didn’t the dems also garner more dem votes for those other candidates? As for sticks and stones, if someone is not uninformed or misinformed and yet still believes that the chump is the right guy for the job, then they are by definition, stupid. Just ask somewhere over 75,000,000 Americans.

Mokaw, the media didn’t just choose the president, they announced the results. Pretty standard procedure over the years. Trump cracked me up when he asked “when did the media start calling elections?” Almost two hundred years ago lolol.

Good point about the other choices on the ballot Wuzza. I live in a very conservative, Republican heavy area. Some Republicans here are repulsed by Trump’s antics. That explains why the senate and house races are closer than the presidential one.
5 million more people chose Biden/Harris and the only way some conservatives can wrap their minds around that is to claim cheating. Do what the other half of the country did 4 years ago. Wait.
