I agree with most of what you said, but consider Obama, who was a true gentleman, politically correct and look at how badly he was treated.Wuzza hit it in the head. The return to decency I referred to is getting Trump out of the White House. I'll give him that the economy was fine before the virus hit but he has been a constant A$$. His refusal to reach across the political aisle, in fact talking about Democrats as if they're the enemy, the roughian treatment of other countries, his refusal to denounce white extremists, his childlike refusal to admit when he's wrong...the handling of the pandemic (lying about the severity to keep us from panicking? WTF!!), his horrible behavior towards John McCain...I could go on forever. I'm not a fan of Pelosi either, and it looks like there's a chance that we're stuck with Mitch McConnell for a while longer, but getting Trump out is a great move in the right direction IMO.
Politics are insincere, false, lies and more lies. Maybe we needed an arrogant sob to really shake things up for a bit and get stuff done.
Politicians are like a bunch of bananas. Yellow, crooked and they hang together.
Anyway, of the 70 million votes Trump got, I believe many were for the party and what the Administration got done, rather than for the person.
The fatal mistake he made was not to support mail in voting. I believe a lot of folks who may have voted Trump, stayed home due to Covid and the inconvenience of standing in a line.
If you don’t watch TV, other than gas prices dipping below $2.00 and less unemployment, how did Trump affect your life personally?
We can blame him for being irresponsible with Covid, but what about the governor of each state who has the authority to manage Covid?
Look at NY Cuomo, who publicly stated he wished the Covid vaccine is delayed until the new Administration takes over. WTF, you think he cares about you? You wonder why he has some of the highest Covid numbers in the nation?
