Well it stands to reason. The people that assume things must get better in the face of overwhelming debt and depleting natural resources typically work in Universities and are insulated from the real world. But lets face it, many are making lots of money out of this downturn, if you want to call it that. The 1% grow richer and richer and so does anyone who followed in the footsteps of the 1%. My local Suzuki dealership has exactly one hayabusa on the floor, an orchard of KTM's and a swathe of those Chinese bikes, you know the ones with no oil coolers, cheap accessories and narrow wheels. I saw one outside the cakeshop in town the other day and had a good look over it, definitely not for me! But they are all many can afford now.
We have a CF Moto dealership near me, their bikes are all Chinese knock offs....
I was just thinking that today about ktm's. I saw a couple go past, on the back of a ute, but I rarely see them on the roads, and it's not like you can miss them either with that color lol. When I'm up the dirt roads it's usually all Japanese with a smattering of the smaller BMW's. I must camp out in a corner some day and get pix of bikes as they past. With the new camera's and their in-built 5-axis stability systems you don't even need a tripod

I did find 8 posts where you characterize me as an emotional thinker, completely ignoring my response to the contrary. That is the crux of it; you don't always discuss intellectually as you claim, you often play a game of battleship and drop bombs to see what they do, and it's not only with me. If that's your way of staying engaged, that's fine. I don't care; we aren't friends so I feel no loss of connection.
