As if custom-made hats, premium box seats and limo rides weren’t enough, the Kentucky Derby will now feature the $1,000 mint julep.

Sip this drink slowly.

The sweet cocktail will be made with one of the state’s finest bourbons and served in a gold-plated cup with a silver straw to the first 50 people willing to put down the cash at the May 6 race.

We all know you're in KY now. Love that Woodford Reserve but Knob Creek takes the cake...or roses in this case. I have a bottle personally signed by Jim Beam grandson and current President Booker Noe himself.

I'll try anything once! I think the rocky mountain oysters is my tops . They were good. The strangest thing is I once ate at a table with Rubba!

Blow fish ( both cooked and raw ) in Japan
Reindeer and whale in Norway.
I envy you, fine sir. Damn!! I gotta get me to Japan...and quick!

Forgot to add a couple of things to the list, too...

Fruit Bat - called " fani'hi " here, but not exactly adventurous eating. Islanders here have been eating them for a while.

Cow tongue - not bad, although Big Wall's description makes me think twice now.

Shark - Good eats.

I'd like to try that rattlesnake, too. Sounds good.

On occasion, when I go home to Lousiana, I have been known to partake in a big bowl of stewed Nutria.
