GREAT NEWS!!!
GSXR IS FIXED.
He took it to track today to test it.
It ran a full flawless 20 minutes !

Wish I was at Barber with Team Gixxer this weekend!

Bummer!

Was it a good day tho?

Yea it was a good day for me until I had a mechanical on the next to last session that left me up against a wall :(

Seems to be something with the clutch. It just revved and didn't go anywhere, even when in gear. And the clutch lever has no tension.

But the best part was that it was 80% chance of possible severe thunderstorms and it didn't rain a drop. Can't complain a out that!!

Did you recently replace levers? May need adjusted. This happened when I replaced lever.
Glad weather held up and y'all had fun!
Made it to a track yesterday to finally ride the beast! Was good for 20 min out if the 30 min session then started throwing -C26 code....coils....needless to say it is back with the mechanic.

Nope. Didn't do anything. Not sure what it could be. Probably just have to replace the whole clutch pack..

And I still ain't having the problems that you are... That sucks!!!

Jay - I really liked lining up with you and listening to that shifter when we went down the front straight...you went thru about 3-4 gears and I went thru maybe 1-2 because our gearing is different. It didn't look like it gave you a huge acceleration advantage, but I suspect you get better powerband management..and a tenth of a second every time would add up over a couple laps...

Yea I wouldn't say it necessarily gives an acceleration advantage, but then again our bikes are different years.. And I think yours is a bit stronger than mine. Regardless, I do enjoy what it does provide. It seems so much easier to take something else out of the equation. Yea it doesn't take much to let off the gas to shift, but you still have to do it. So it does let you focus any other important things with being able to forget about letting off the gas to upshift. Plus it is TOO COOL

Is it a gp shift qs?

Yezzir!! But the annitori units use strain gauge sensors that can be used standard or gp shift. You don't have to choose a sensor for one or the other..

Love GP shift!
There is 2 turns at Barber I always use gp

Sure is a lot easier to put your foot down on hard accelleration in a turn than to lift up...
