Dayyyyyummm, that dont lQQk pretty at all, Paya. I'm just glad your around to take a snap shots for the memories. Hurry up back into the saddle .

Jim! No! Sorry to hear this. Glad to hear you are in good spirits. I sure wasn't typing the day after my wreck.
Looks as if you almost missed the car, like you glanced off the side of it. The forks "look" fairly straight. I am glad you didn't hit it head on. Did it rip the stator cover off like this or did yall take it off?

Get well soon bro!

When you start to rebuild, let me know. I have a good coolant overflow tank, its yours.

The stator cover was torn off. Thanks for the parts offer but as of now I wouls just like for the Ins. Co to total it. This is me second wreck on this bike and I think it's time to let it go. I do plan to ride again but I may just take some time off for a while. I'm not really sure what I want to do right now.

Take your time and Heal up Bro. Damn glad your here to tell us about it... Sorry about your Boo man, that is sad...

Dang man! Sorry to hear that, but glad you're still around to post about it. Get healed up quick, man. If you need anything just holler...

Jim,

Very sorry to hear about the accident.

I am an Orthopaedic surgeon and would be happy to give you some general information if you need it. Treatment varies depending on the bone(s), location and severity of the fracture.

What bone(s) did you break in your leg? Was it the tibia (shin bone), fibula (the one beside it) or both? Did they tell you what kind of surgery you would need?

Let me know if I can help and hope you have a speedy recovery.

Thanks guys.

Blaze, unfortunately I know oh so well what I'm looking at. Almost 5 fears ago I broke all 3 bones in my right leg and had IM nails put in. This time I rebroke my Tib and it looks like it may be on the old fracture line. The Fib also broke but last time they did nothing with it so I guess that will again be the case. Once I talk to my OS I'll let you know.

Oh Man--glad you made it out alive---I hope you have a speedy recovery. Hurts to hear what happend to you and your Busa. Even if you lay off of bikes for awhile--you still get to Taxi Boeing 777's once in a while.--- Be well my friend.
