What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

I . . ahemm, 'tweaked' my Graphics a little today, and fitted a blue fuel cap, goy my extra set of rim tapes also, so now I can finish the wheels off tonight!
With that rim tape they give you enough to to do 3 stripes per side of each wheel.
The three stripes are 90deg each and you have to leave 30deg of bare rime then another 90deg of tape etc.
I didn't like the gaps so I 've gone ahead and done the full circumference of the rim in tape.

Depending on the amount of snow you have why not get the one for the front of the mower?
I would but for three reasons,

1. with a blower attached the thing is the size of a car and sucks to store
2. I've seen tractors used in the winter and the salt absolutely eats the crap out of them
3. hard to manoeuvre in any tight spot (around vehicles, etc)

Changed oil and filter...

Bike started right up so I could warm up the oil and ran perfect. when the fans came on, I shut it off then felt the clutch cover and found it to be not real warm so I went to start it again.
It wouldn't start and the FI light started flashing. I left it for a bit and then tried a couple times with no luck-cranked over fine. I changed the oil while pondering the no start, FI light issue.

I got a little frustrated and walked away for about 15 mins...I tried again and it started right up and ran perfect....I will go in sometime and check all my Bazzaz connectors and grounds just to be sure....must be something in there.

Got the fairing back on and the pin tab held by "Gorilla Glue" worked fine thankfully. Pretty easy process to put the fairing back on anyway.

I got the Busa Battleship out today and gave the new swingarm setup a good testing on my very familiar favorite hills road . Parked up with another black vehicle in some of the pics , that is a GM Commodore .View attachment 1596419

Well , not a lot of difference felt today , will have to get out to more open sweepers to really give a test , but netherless she sure was handling her usual pretty faultless self .
Beautiful bike, brother!!

How many miles on your old set and how bad did they look? I recently did mine as well.

They were in there when I got it so not sure (bike has 42,000kms on it). the electrodes were decent but they were blackened. I was surprised at how loose they were.

The dealership where I got it had/has a habit of taking the bikes outside into a lineup and letting them idle for an undetermined period of time.
