Restored the entire fuel system on my 2004 (due to rust in the tank). I had the original injectors flow benched and cleaned but they're still doj. I've replaced everything from filter, to pump, fuel line, and injectors (refurbished). Will post if it made any difference to the low rpm surging and sputtering.

Got the head bearings out. Waiting for new ones to get here. Will punch out the races today.

Yessir!!! Here’s you an up close. Along with upper then lower races removed. Notice the grooves and bearing impressions. I can only assume that whomever tightened these in the past, over did them.

Love it Jerry ! FYI those bearing races are in good shape compared to many serviced over the years .
Are you going back round roller or timken style ?

Ok ok, got a few real parts. Time to do an oil change and change clutch and brake fluids

I cut the end of my rear fender and put an old Harley plate holder with reflector on. I ran my battery tender cable from the battery to under the hump.

I also put the bike in the basement had to try a couple different spots. This is until a good rain comes and clears the salt off the roads. That is if the rain does not turn into snow at night.

My side of the basement is packed. My wife's side not shown has the dog pens and her stuff.

final resting spot...now on weekends when I am downstairs listening to music and having a beer I can start at my bike.
