What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

Put Yosh 4 into one on, changed Engine Ice with fresh stuff, installed Muzzy fan, changed oil, and have new back tire mounted and ready to install tommorrow.

Oh, and rode it to Hells Kitchen and nobody was there... 50 mile trip just to make sure everything is as it should be with no leaks.

It seems to be idling higher with the pipe on it as compared to the Yosh slip ons that were on it. I see the thumb screw adjustment to lower the idle.

Rode it like I stole it. Then took the 2 fugly "S" emblems off the tank. She'll have less unsprung weight now...and should be faster.

Cleaned the chain, used Meguiar's Ultimate Wash & Wax to get the bugs off, adjusted the shift lever, looked at the Mich PR2's and wondered if I could pull another 5K out of them.

Installed a set of Throttlemeister Cruise Control heavy bar ends. My set was missing a Friction Sleeve so I need to get one to complete the installation.

Rode to bike night on Wednesday for the first time this year.....

Installed a brembo 19rcs clutch MC I ordered from Justin to match the brake! Not sure how I want my reservoirs set up. That's still a work in progress!

I am just about done with the floor of the hauler and the shop dyno'd mine yesterday. The shifter should be pretty close to dialed in and I have a real suit coming from Alpinestars some time this week. It's all getting closer to coming together. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

I rode my new 2013 LE from the dealer to home....about 35 miles. It's a bit faster than my 06.... I got home just before the rain did.

Went in the garage. Looked at her -front to rear. Smiled. Squeezed the brake lever. Twisted the throttle. Smiled again. Looked at the rear tire - won't last a season. Smiled again. And happy, left the garage.

put a new set of Q2's and didn't get to ride because my tire guy informed me that my registration expired yesterday.. i was so mad that left the bike there...
