What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

yesterday I took all the fairings off, took a bottle of degreaser to anything metal, hosed it down and cleaned up some parts. going to take another can of degreaser to it and a few brushes. once thats done ill install the new chain and rear sprocket. next week ill clean up the fairings that are good and send the front fender/nose off to get touched up.

Yesterday I took off the fairings relocated some LEDs and added some angel eyes. Used my new rear stand I bought and cleaned and greased my chain. Then the wife and I set off for a long ride to the beach and grabbed some sea food and went shopping for her new bikini. Great weekend all around.

Sweet azzed set-up.
Very nice bro.I'm envious.

RSD.

Thanks, it's heading off to the Onan shop today for a starter on the generator tomorrow. The last start it made at Beeville was literally the last one. Talk about good timing. It would have sucked to been without power there. We are heading to ROT next week to see the show in Austin. I am in Lime B28J is anyone wants to say hello. There ought to be some fine hardware there and some good software too :)

Put Da Bull in the shop at WIN Racing for a dynotune (ECU editing/tune, unrestrict) and replacing fork seals. Can't wait to get him back:please:.

well I got the busa to do the following today:
lowered with the PPM top tripple that I wanted Thanks to (haik)
myrtle west dogbones
new 60 led's SMT from DDM Tunin(only $ 8.99each and match my 6k HID's)
lowered kickstand
replace the full lock set (ingition, tank and tail)
s/s braided lines
have yet to ride it.. but at least i will be up on two this weekend:cheerleader:

I loaded mine for the first time ever today. It went pretty smooth, but I need to modify the ramp just a bit to get a little more clearance. I think putting boards under bikes (or anything else on wheels) to get them on and off a trailer isn't the thing to do. It works, but it sure creates the chance of the board moving and breaking something. At any rate, it's off to the ROT rally in the morning. My daughters graduation was a lot of fun, but it's time for some different kind of fun this weekend. Stay safe.

Washed it. Had a very long ride yesterday that ended with about an hours worth of farmland at night. Yep covered in critters.

Replaced the front brake pads in preparation of a group ride this weekend. Good thing too...there was only about 1/16" left of material on the old pads. :banghead:

I got the exhaust clamps back from the chrome guy, fabbed up some new brackets, and polished them out. The exhaust is finished. It's nothing special, but sounds and runs good. There's a factory header and midpipe ahead of it, and a PC5 handling the tune. The new Brocks shock is installed, along with Power Pilot 3's, front and back. It sure rides a lot better. My thanks to Josh for his help. It's getting closer to being ready for Beeville. With any luck, the kickstand will show up this week and I can take it for a good ride to break the tires in and get used to having rear suspension. It's sitting a little higher than before, so I need some seat time to see if I am going to leave it like that. I hope everyone had a good weekend.

put a coat of wax on her and me and my wife took a 110 mile ride...

no fair waxing the wife :) JK.

I turned wrenches until 10 last night trying to make the track tomorrow. I think I am just going to wait and ride really early Saturday. Installing a new kick stand turned into a little bit larger project than I had figured. I should have just taken the whole assembly off from the start. Getting both springs back on there requires 3 hands, at least. Either that, or needle nose Visegrips.

quick question guys, im about to replace one of the intake valves of a 99 hayabusa...is possible to do so with the engine in frame? thanks

It's been raining here (very much needed), so I replaced the battery and cleaned up some electrical stuff the "pros" left half done. I read enough here to know to keep Gen1 batteries fresh and avoid other issues. When we get a little break in the weather, a quick ride after work is in order. Don't laugh too hard at my wire markers. I have black wires on the hot side and white ones on the ground and they all look alike when I get things apart. I found two of those ring terminals that looked just like that one in the pic. I also found out why the seat has been so hard to get back on there. It had the wrong battery in it that was too tall.

Just out of curiosity, why did you use +++++ instead of "PLUS"? Only reason I ask is because you used MINUS instead of -------
