What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

New Bridgestone BT016 Pros front and rear. If weather holds up riding Friday through Mon in N AR ans S MO.

Installed my powdercoated rear sets finally!!! Yay Steve can't make fun of me anymore. Now I need to spray paint my airshifter ram

I swore at my bike as it's in pieces.....so I gook the viper out...lol

Changed the worn out back tire after a few burnouts behind the shopping center. Found a spare wheel complete with a decent tire for a smoking price a while back. Sure makes the down time minimal.

Just changed the oil to Amsoil. Put fairings back on after they were off all winter..lol. Also, mounted the wheel chock in my enclosed trailer...

Catching up with the thread, after a fun group ride Thursday at the Bash I didn't like the way the front tire looked, so I had Wheeler install a new Michelin PR3 to match the rear. Then after a great Friday Group ride, running beside the Yellow River on US 129 I decided to come out of 2nd and shift to 6th to avoid unwanted attention and grabbed a fist full of air. So Wheeler installed a cheapo , get me home clutch lever for the Pazzo I lost.

I mounted a gear position indicator on mine visually under the existing neutral light. No CNC stuff here, just an old school jig saw and buffing wheel and lots of time. The chain guard from earlier is also now buffed out and loctited down. I just rode it to the shop and dropped it off for exhaust. I can't stand those pipes under my heels and I found some takeoff stuff on line priced cheap that I am hoping will resolve that. They are also going to do the wiring on the indicator. It's just coiled up in the pic to keep it out of the way until they do.

It's either comfortable or it's not. I catch some grief about my seat, but it's my ass and I figure it ought to be comfortable. I can't see it sitting on it anyways ;)

I might get hit with a technical on this one :rolleyes2:, but I laid new aluminum diamond plate on the trailer entry and into the kitchen. Making a pattern out of press board turned out to be a solid plan. Just because it would fit into the space, didn't mean you could get the piece in there. After pulling the cabinet doors, the drawers and the door off the fridge, it got a lot easier. I used .1" plate and 3/4" angle for trim. The cuts were made with a sabre saw, good metal blade and WD40 by hand. It cut easy enough and left a good safe edge. If things go to plan, it should all get tested out Saturday at Houston. The old floor had just about had it, and I have enough left over to put a piece on the step to match. When I get time, I am going to do the same thing all the way back in the cargo bay.
