What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

It always starts off small, one little thing here, another one there . . .
then it 'progresses' into weight saving disease . . . . . . . . . . . . all hope (and money) is then lost.
…..don't forget "go faster disease" as well...
You have something to show for it at the end...assuming there ever is an' end. There must be +50 grand in mine by now, maybe more. Not that I invested all that.
There are worse things to invest in.
Rubb.

After my ride today, I noticed a couple drops of coolant under the bike. I noticed the reservoir was low so decided to take the fairing off to top it up...

It actually took very little time to remove the fairing but I thought to myself, what a pain in the arse to have to remove this just to top up the coolant...of course when I was taking off the fairing, I noticed the pin on the top part of the fairing was hanging on by a thread...will have to glue that soon...

I was going to remove all the foam from the fairing but got too lazy...that will be for another day.

After changing the oil and filter on my Z I cleaned some springtime bugs off the front of the Busa for a ride mañana. Weather is great but it’s still late spring so the bugs throughout the farm and ranch land I ride thru breeds a lot of them. In addition to the bugs, I routinely see squirrels,

cattle, horses, mules, goats, sheep, wild turkeys, coyotes and alpacas (the odor passing them is just like a cattle pen). Breaking out the mesh jacket and mesh gloves! Now, if the Sierra passes and the parks would open up! I’m jonesin!

Amazing photo's. Such a beautiful area

Thanks but those are from last year. All inside YNP which is closed like all the others. Although I’ve been over all the roads I’d like to see them when I want to, barring snow on the road. :D What baffles me are the lakes that are closed. No one is allowed to take their boat out onto an empty lake and fish. They can sit in it, but can’t motor on out.

Same here in NZ, and the reason for those restrictions are (from the Govt) that the risk of injury or perilous consequences are too great, and they don't want to use Search and rescue or any emergency services (ambulance, fire etc etc) for fear of Covid transmission, and also they want hospital beds empty ready for the thousands of Covid cases coming in . . yeah right.

Hi They said 3,000,000 dead in New Bedford Ma. alone! Population 100,000

….actually what I MIGHT have to do to it...I noticed a couple drops of coolant under the bike this morning and when reaching under the fairings, all the hoses are dry..hopefully it's just and over flow issue..never did this before even after a hot summer ride.

There's always something it seems.

And I laughed to myself as one of my neighbours has a drip pan under his HD while it sits in the driveway and here I am with a piece of cardboard under mine...
