I did this on my Cadi I recently sold. Didn't help lower IAT's any noticeable difference, but it looks pretty fancy at least!
Decision made. They're gone. Looked more closely and one of them is actually touching the fairing. Pulled the outside part and will pull the brackets next time I have the fairings off.Put T-Rex frame sliders on. Seriously considering pulling them back off. They're huge, look like highway pegs. I don't know...

I love them. No idea about throttle lock. How do you like the bar-end mirrors? Do they work with a throttle-lock?
I've read a few threads on the t rex sliders having one of them touch and I think there was a certain way that they had to be done to keep it from touching or something. It took awhile for the looks of the t rex sliders to grow on me but I finally decided I like them enough I want to get a set or maybe a knock off version at some point when finances allow because there's no way I can bring myself to cut my fairing. I just ordered a set from httm to install on my buddy's cbr so I'm going to see their quality and hope it's good, I thought i remembered seeing they offered a set for the gen2 awhile ago but now I only see for the gen 1 so might be stuck with the t rex when I do get them.Decision made. It’s ok quality. the hole for the set screw on the slider strips easily and they did not have any warranty on it. Part of the fairing was scratched when it tipped over so the slider worked a bit. I wasn’t too happy with the rubbing of the fairing but i think it‘s better than having to drill into it. It was the only brand that you didn’t have to cut the fairing which is why i went with it.I've read a few threads on the t rex sliders having one of them touch and I think there was a certain way that they had to be done to keep it from touching or something.
