What did you do to your Gen 3 today?

I wouldn’t mind keeping the gen2 look but with all the gen3 electronics. I think at this point is easier for you to list what’s still stock than the aftermarket parts. LOL! You sure have created a one of a kind bike and from your comment on turbo and fairings, o sign of slowing down

I don't blame you. Ive thought before about putting a Gen 2 tail on my Gen 3. For a while it looked like aftermarket fairing options for the Gen 3 weren't even being worked on and id love to have a little more clearance fender to back tire and thought about getting a +4 Gen 2 tail. Someone just released an aluminum subframe to fit a gixxer tail only a Gen 3 so it's looking like I may go down that route. The subframe replacement is 2.1 lbs and DME has a one piece carbon tail that weights 1.5lbs So a 3.5lb subframe with some LED lights and my MAxxECU stuffed in there is most likely the route ill end up taking lol.

My motor and frame are stock...for now

Going from a stock front wheel with two rotors to a core moto front with ceramic bearings and a single galfer is the move to really wake the bike up feel wise. Or so I hear

More often than not, it's been triple digits here after work according to the bike. Plus Louisiana humidity. People keep complaining how hot it is, it is hot for sure, but it's truly not "that" hot, even with full gear.

First trip to town on Mardi Gras when I first picked up my used '03 and it started to overheat in traffic. I let it cool off and traffic clear and made it home. Swapped coolant and never had another issue.

Carbon wheels are perfect. I’ve bent oem rims on a certain road that BST’s have floated over. Well worth the money.
